Does anyone want to change bodies? Mine has been raising Hades with me already today. I hate getting up early and 3:30 is way too early. Oh well, at least the pills help, well, they don't stop the pain but with them, I don't care about it that much.
I had something happen yesterday that was a first for me. My sigelei M75 was not reading a battery. I used my Noalox and a Q-tip and cleaned the battery connectors in the mod. It is now working like a charm. Glad I picked it up when I got my Reo.

Sorry that you're rough this morning, Diver :( I think it's one of those consequences of that thing called "getting older"? I have a few days I feel it too, but that's usually because I've done something stoopid the day before :D

I need to pick up a tube of noalox. I often think of it, but when I run to the hardware store, that thought always seems to slip my mind :pervy: (Perhaps that's another consequence of "getting older"?)

I hate the early wake ups. I don't even go to sleep until around 12 or 1. If I can sleep until 7 it's great. But waking at 4 or 5 leaves me sleepy all day. I'm finally getting back onto my regular sleep schedule after months of being on doggy time. [emoji38]

I found out why I have been hurting so much. About 9:30 my daughter left the house for a dental appt. She came back in the house in a huff. It was raining, really hard. I told her where she could find an umbrella and she left in a better mood. I left the house long enough to mail a package and came back home and put on a new patch. I'll go to the pharmacy tomorrow.

Ouch. It's rough when you get so used to being in pain all the time & don't realize how bad it's gotten until you are immobilized from it.

It really started last night. I didn't even try going to bed, I just kicked back in my recliner and dozed off and on until I had to let the dog out at 3:30. When we came in I went ahead and started the coffee pot. I had to go to the post office because I had to send out a pen to a friend that I had promised to send out last week. What can I say, life happened and I had to wait until my retirement check hit the bank today.

You are so very correct with this observation. I think I have a handle on my pain then the weather changes and I have a whole new level to work through. The only thing that is worse is when I miss a rotation of pills and then I am having to chase the pain instead of staying ahead of it.

A while ago I splurged on myself and picked up a Reo Grand with the Reomizer 8.0. With my fat fingers, I always had a hard time building on the Reomizer deck. One day not long ago, I was browsing at Vapor Bank and they had a Sapor RDA by WOTOFO and a Squonk Conversion Kit for the Sapor. It was less than $10 for the two of them. Today has been a boring day and I am stuck at my desk due to my rebellious body. I had at first put a single coil in the Sapor just to see how it would work on the Reo. I was happy with the deck on the Sapor so I took out the single coil and put duel SS316L 7 wrap coils in it. Oh my! I have to admit I am really surprised with the vape and flavor. This is a totally different vaping system! The deck is really easy to work on and now hits like a beast.

Lately, I haven't been getting to bed until 3:00 - 4:00. I no longer fight the insomnia, I roll with it. ;)
Today, I'm up early, but don't have any, me-not-care pills. :|
I know what you mean. Been an insomniac for the past 15 years. I'd be lucky to get 3-4 hours per night and even those are not restful because I can't get deep sleep. I used to get really upset with myself and be very unhappy about the whole thing, especially when I didn't sleep at all for the whole night which happens about once a month.

Have you ever tried melatonin or valerian? I tried both many years ago but they did nothing. But now I'm several years older and lots have changed in my body so I tried them again about two weeks ago and I actually get 5-6 hours good sleep when they work which is about 75% of the time.

I am wierd, I can't take Benedryl to sleep. It wires me and makes me all tingly. I can take it during the day for decongestion or itches, but at night? No way! Won't sleep a wink. Hope it might help Diver, though.
It knocks me out. I take it at night with pain & anxiety meds & sleep for about 6 hours or more. Without it I only sleep about 3 hours & that might not happen until 5am or more. Nope. I'm taking my meds.

Me neither. It gives me the same symptoms.

I like malatonin and valerian becaused they are natural substances and can be obtained OTC. Valerian is a plant and melatonin is a hormone we naturally have in our bodies and which regulates our sleep time.

Of course like everything else these things dont work for everybody.

Bebedryl doesn't do a thing for me. If I take my pain meds too close to bed time they keep me up. My Dr has had me on Elavil to help me sleep and with the pain I have at times it doesn't do anything.

I'm glad none of those effect me like that. I have to have them at night or the pain or dreams wake me up, if I do manage to get to sleep. I can nap like crazy. 1-3 hours at a time. Which doesn't get me into a really feep sleep, takes up too much time. Icd rather sleep 6 hours j rest or nap a bit in the afternoon. Then be up till midnight.
