I've been wondering the same thing. And like you said I used to have 10-15 messages daily and for the last few weeks a few every few days. As a result I have joined another thread as well that is as active as this one has been in the past but I'm not leaving here.

Is this the natural turn of threads? Mdmbers move on to other threads after a while? Or their lives go in different directions?
When this thread was beginning, I'd go to work and come home to 4,5,6 pages worth of messages. It has really slowed down in the past year or so. And like you, I've went "elsewhere" but still come back here to check this thread.

I've been hunkered down with the driveway problem, doing work from home. I'm up at state DOT level now, hoping the area supervisor returns my call tomorrow and is in a benevolent mood. Current ny paperwork shovels culvert replacement onto the home owner, though the culvert is on the state's right of way land (my official property line is at the top of a small hill, not down in the ditch where the culvert is). Town and county level do the replacements free, for roads in their jurisdictions. Supervisor is supposed to have discretion, it's a case of playing nice and hoping they want to help.

(This is a non trivial repair, a lot of earth to move.)
Prayers for favor, Mark!

State DOT person couldn't do it :( Word is that he could only comp it if they were already doing something on our stretch of the road, and there's nothing in play right now.

Working the area excavation/driveway contractors, tryng to find out who can do this work (and get estimates).

My expectation is it'll be pricey to get it done, though I'm still trying to chase down bids. Fortunately I'm blessed with a good job, and both DW and I are savers.

On the fun front, I got my Hugo Vapor Squeezer in, really like it :) I did two small tweaks:
1. Add a little garage weatherstrip closed cell foam behind the negative contact, so it won't compress with use. I did this back with the Cloupor Mini, it works great, lasts a long time. (I have a bunch of this weatherstrip.)

2. Put JBWeld in to fill the air inlets on the 510 top plate. A squonker has zero reason to have that style of top plate, they are a leak point (d'oh). I did this last night, it's now leak free.

I did do a pretty thorough cleaning of the 510/feed tube, filled the squonk bottle with a bit of 100 proof garbage vodka, squirted some to fill the 510, let it sit for a while, periodically topping it off. It's vaping nicely :)

Overall, a sweet mod. Very low voltage drop. Good feel in hand, overall nice build quality. A simple, functional, off switch. A true classic mech, with nice contacts. It comes with a spare squonk bottle (with feed tube, already set to the right length) and a 510 squonk refill bottle (with insulated tip), all bottles soft silicone. Native 20700, comes with an 18650 adapter. $27 total (including a bump in shipping)

I should have a Dead Rabbit SQ coming in for it in a couple days, for now I'm running it with the Wasp Nano.

Hai Kidz!!!!!!!

I'm in the midst of "Hell Month" (I feel like a Marine Recruit pushing through The Crucible  ) That, and apparently my firm has locked out ECF, so I can't check from work any more :(

Got a call from my CC company today and apparently somebody tried to run a $750 charge on my Debit card (not enough money in THAT account!) and then a $0.54 charge to some "Urgent Care" place which isn't even in my state  :grr:  :grr: Bank confirmed the last actual charge (interestingly enough - MyFreedomSmokes) and has shut down that card number - issuing a new one. Guess I won't be buying from MFS any more. Unless I get a pre-paid card.

We've missed a lot of the snow, but it's been cold. Slight warm-up over the weekend, and then back down again next week.

Had a check-up at the doctor today - my BP is about the best it's been in a year. My "crazy pills" are working and the doc confirmed I didn't pass away today!

Came down to the vape cave this evening and found my new Therion (from MFS) covered in juice - the tank had leaked all over it  Haven't tried firing it up - when I pulled batteries from the one time I've used it, top of one of the batteries got a tear in the wrapper  Guess I'll be re-wrapping (once I get my hands on a heat gun or a hair dryer.....)

Love the Therion, but very disappointed in the outside. Thought I was getting a "snake skin" battery cover with carbon fiber accents. All stickers :( It is a DNA75 dual-battery (parallel), so the life was great, but if it keeps tearing up my wrappers, I'm not going to be excited about this purchase.

I've never ordered from MFS because of that reason. It seems to be a very common occurrence with their site, there was a thread a while back with at least 30 people, probably a lot more and even more who had not posted, that got their cards hacked within a few days of buying from them,so i never took that chance.
I agree on the Therion.I have 2,a dual battery one and the squonk version, and both have that horrible battery wrap problem,i decided on those mods to just leave the batteries in and charge through the usb,it's just easier that way for me,especially on the squonker because on it,you have to take the bottle out, then take out the battery cover, then you can pull the battery haha.

Good info, brother! I'll just drop some batteries back in there and leave them.....

I'd avoided some of the previous hacks. Just emailed MFS and told them about this incident. It'll be awhile before I peruse them again.

Had a card go awry after a purchase from them several years back. Haven't gone back there since, especially since about a year after, there were the threads here indicating that nothing had been done...

I liked mine but quit using it. Every time I changed the batteries, taking them in and out was tearing the battery wrap. I've had to rewrap 3 batteries from using this mod.
