I had always figured that might be the trickiest part of it, but is there a reason anyone knows of that a tiny dot of glue wouldn't be a good idea? Would it negate any of the insulative properties?

NO. It might or might not cause problems with resistance, depends on the particular glue and the material of the insulator. Why take chances?

Today was also my combination birthday/vapeversary. Three years ago I had set my stop date for smoking on my 60th birthday. The next day February 26th was the day I found and joined ECF. It is hard to conceive it has been 3 years since I stopped cigs and started vaping exclusively. I'm not going to say it has been an easy 3 years but all of you have made it much more tolerable and possible. Thank you, everyone, for your patience and assistance.

Today has been a totally relaxing day. I haven't been sleeping very well lately. After 4 or 5 hours of sleep last night I got up and made a cup of coffee and settled down at my desk and computer. When the NASCAR race came on I watched about the first hour of it and the next thing I knew was the tv prattering on about some kind of gadget that will make life better for me. I looked around and could not find the mouse for my laptop. I finally found it under my desk (?). I looked at the clock and realized I had zoned out for about 3 hours sitting at my desk.

Hate your still having so much trouble sleeping. I do more sleeping mostly reclining in bed after having fallen asleep watching tv.

we were wondering about him on the front porch also. Sure hope he's ok. Not unusual for him not to post on the porch for a month or so, but not sure if he posts other places during those times or not. For some reason i wasn't getting notifications for this thread,so i thought nobody had posted anything new for the last week.
Anyway,speaking of Diver,as most of you know,he got me hooked on making pens,and that new hobby has progressed into more woodworking stuff.I just did a beautiful razor today,and have started buying the stuff i need to start making bowls and stuff here soon too,and i just bought all the stuff needed to start stabilizing my own wood,it's getting to be an expensive hobby haha,but the results are well worth it,plus it gives me and my son more stuff we can do together,so it's all been money well spent.
Here is a pic of the razor,the handle is turned from a piece of green dyed stabilized buckeye burl.
