Kayfun 3.1 ehpro died?

So today I picked up a kayfun 3.1 by ehpro. Did everything in the shop, things were working beautiful. Got home, went to vape and it read NON. Isolated the problem to center pin on my MVP 2.0 because my other tanks were reading NON also. Fixed my pin, now the kayfun reads 0.0.

I'm new to this. Is my Kayfun bricked?

Sounds as you still have no connection on the center pin (with Kayfun). See if you can un screw the center pin of kayfun just a little and try again?
Also do you have multi meter or a way to test the kayfun ?
And congrads on getting the Kayfun. I'm heading that way too.

Sounds like either you shorted it out or the pin is not making connection. Check the pin first. Then if nothing remake the coil and go from there. Have not heard of anyone having a bricked tank. It is it is always user error some how.

Use a Multimeter to check for continuity. You most likely have an "open circuit" or damaged insulator somewhere.

First I've heard of this. If you checked it on multiple devices than I'd say it's safe to say you didn't push your 510 connection in on your device. That happens with PVs like the Vamo, then you have to get in there and wiggle it back into place.

Adjust the center pin and check on a no PV if possible but, if you bought it locally, why not go back and trouble shoot it with them or exchange it?

"Fixed the pin" on the Kayfun or the MVP2? If you backed out the pin on the kayfun you may have caused the little positive deck to spin and make contact with something else causing a short. When you adjust a pin on a kayfun you need to hold and pinch the deck so it won't move. The only thing holding that little positive block of steel where half your coil is attached is the connection pin.

If you fixed the pin on the MVP2 maybe you didn't wiggle it up far enough, though I have a EHPro Kayfun Lite on my one of MVP2's right now and I've never had connection problems. In fact I find I can't screw it down all the way and have to unscrew the beauty ring a few turns to make it flush and solid.

I would not advise adjusting the center pin on a Kayfun after your done building it. It is most likely shorted out as Btsmokincat mentioned. Anyone new to Kayfuns should do plenty of research, it's not that hard to short one out if you fiddle with the center posts.

Swapped it out. The atty shorted out. Luckily my local B&M is very understanding of n00bs. My problem now is that I busted the O ring by pulling up the pin inside the MVP, and it's loose. No idea if it's worth replacing, or if i should toss it now.
