I too have a 3.1 clone from fasttech. Only time I've had leaking issues was when the top O ring (the one that sits around the chimney directly below the drip-tip) was misaligned. This meant that it wouldn't hold the vacuum and literally drained a full tank out of the airhole.

So check all your O rings are secure, completed seated and not cracked or torn.

I'm sure there are other reasons, but this is probably the easiest to check.

I had the same issue with mine from Fasttech. I found that if I screwed the fill hole screw REALLY tight it helped a lot. Id have to leave it on its side while it was low on juice to leak after that. My guess is there is a small leak in on the of the orings still. Apparently the fasttech clones are terrible, I cannot remember which ones are the good ones, I believe the EHPro? I ended up grabbing an Aqua from Fasttech, and it hits better anyways so I stopped looking for a kayfun solution

I have a hcigar 3.1 and its nice. I do prefer the ehpro KFL+ though.

Aside from a manufacturing defect, this is absolutely correct. The only reason it would leak is lack of vacuum.

O-rings re easiest to check, but not filling it correctly is another leading cause. If you upset the vacuum in even the slightest way it will leak.

Respect the vacuum and learn how it works, and the Kayfun will respect you.

Question: How do you fill? Top fill or using the fill hole?

If you top fill, try using the fill hole and that will likely fix your problems. If you use the fill hole, MAKE SURE IT IS UPSIDE DOWN WHEN YOU FILL IT. If you fill it right side up the vacuum is broken with liquid at the ready to leak out, and it will continue to leak out until you take it apart and put it back together.

If you top fill, make sure that you cover the air intake hole THE ENTIRE TIME UNTIL IT IS SEALED AGAIN. If not, it's primed and ready to leak.
