kayfun base stuck

hi, i have a problem, my kayfun base is stucking on my hana modz cause of over tightening. like really tight. please help!!!

get a pipe wrench, put tape on the teeth an go to town on it

Use a pliers with something to keep the base from being marred.

Put it in the freezer for 2 hours.

Get some latex gloves and wipe it dry and it should come apart it not try the freezer trick.

Had the same thing happen to me today. (We do need to be more careful about over tightening our gear) I used an old T-shirt to grip the two parts and slowly turned them until they came lose. No scratches.

DON'T try the freezer trick. Condensation might form on the electronics of the hana.

Maybe lots of masking tape on the kayfun and then grip it real hard and turn the mod instead of the kayfun. Just make sure you turn the mod in the correct direction. Turn mod clockwise if kayfun is on top, anticlockwise if kayfun is facing down.

Son had his TOBH stuck on his 26650 Nemesis. 61yr old 120lb. Dad got it loose for him with a simple pair of grip gloves.

Gardening style with rubber palm or Frosty Grip work best.
