So, I cracked my center pin today, right where it screws into the block. And of course, now it's too short to reach the block at all.
Has anyone found any place selling replacement pins? I've had no luck so far.
I was thinking about going to a local hardware store, maybe I could find a ss screw that would thread into the block, that I could cut or grind down the the proper length. Then fit into place and drill (1/16th) through the side air hole, to make sure that lines up, then down through the middle until I reach the other hole. I'm not totally sure I could manage it, but I think it would work. Has anyone else tried anything like this?
