Hey guys, I heard a lot of good things about the kayfun lite so i ordered myself one. I watched grimmgreens video on how to wick and wire it and followed the instructions exactly. I used 28 gauge kanthal and cotton as my wick. It was giving me very good vapor production but the throat hit was wayyy too harsh and is making me cough and almost feels like I'm getting e liquid in my mouth but I'm almost positive I'm not. I even torched the kanthal wire before using it. I am also only using 6mg nicotine e juice.

My Kayfun 3.1 and Russian 91% gives awesome throat hit, even at 12mg and about 1 ohm. But chances are, with your setup, there's an issue with airflow. Open up your Kayfun (clone) and make sure the coil is directly on top of the air hole. If it has adjustable airflow, you can open it up a little for more airflow, which should also reduce the throat hit a bit.
If that doesn't solve the issue, simply make a higher ohm coil.
