My biggest concern looking at the deck is how well it wicks !!! I mainly use 50/50 or 60/40 mixes in my mtl tanks but occasionally I do use juices with 70/30 mixes. The wicking channels are very small so I'm hoping that they will wick efficiently.
I vape 70% VG DIY juices all the time in my kayfun lite plus V2. Has the same juice Wells.

About the only difference between V1 and V2 is that V2 has a little more airflow.

My epheonix tanks hurricane 1.2 and both my hurricame juniors are bottom fill also my animodz doggystyle is bottom fill. I don't mind bottom fill tanks as long as the vape I get is worth it !!!!,
Bottom fill never bothered me either, a tank that vapes awesome shouldn't be measured on something that takes 1 minute to do.

Filling a Kayfun (or any other tank) is an acquired skill that becomes mindless for the most part. Most of the time, when I'm out I don't use the refill kit. I just fill it up before I go and the refill supplies are in case I get caught out longer than I thought.

Away from home it's easier for me to use the fill screw method with a small tipped bottle. It's mindless.
Ditto. I can't understand why they hate fill ports on Kayfun, Goblin Silverplay Nano, Ohmega Nano etc. Its NO big deal. I carry tge little Kayfun screwdtiver on my keyring. Its always with me.

The only problem i ever had was getting my screwdriver snd keys through Security wben i was summoned for jury. I showed them it was a screwdriver and the fill port on my Goblin Mini at the time and I went straight through

Like I said I owned 5 and loved every minute and filling is something that takes no time at all. Like you I never really filled it away from home anyways, so imo was never a big deal. But for those who may only have 1 tank and go thru a lot of juice and have to fill it on the go a couple or few times a day, might find it a little more of a pain compared to top fill tanks.

I like the KFLite bottom fill screw because it's easier to fill on the go. The leaking fill screw should be sealed with the tiny o-ring on the fill screw, but that gets lost easily.
One of the reasons I don't use my Kayfun, Russian, and Orchid (and a bunch of other RTAs) anymore is the fill screw. I hate having to take my tanks of the mod for refilling, and needing to juggle the tank, the mod, a bottle of liquid, the bottle cap, a screwdriver, and a screw is a pain in the behind when on the go (and annoying at home). I don't use anything but top fill tanks anymore. I loved the fill port on the Obs Crius, couldn't be easier, but all of mine leaked annoyingly from between the juice and airflow controls (a problem I had with pretty much all of the tanks of the same type).

If you lose the screw in a car that can be a showstopper. The allen screw in the 3.1 is hard to find once dropped. I'm not a fan of the o-ring on the Lite Plus V2 that seems to stay in the hole (should be tight enough to come out with the phillips screw).

Re-filling is something that needs to be done on a counter top. All those are technique sensitive issues that we overcome with repetition.

Sure, but it's impossible to do if the only things you have at hand are your hands and your mouth, no table top. A top fill atty I can top off even when walking around.

I've done it a few times, but it's chancy that the chimney top will try to come loose with the top cap as some in this thread have said. The mini key chain screwdriver and a bottle with the right tip is my favorite. I keep what I need in the vehicle and walk out to the car to refill.

I walked around Disney World for 5 days with a 10ml bottle and a mini screwdriver and it was a breeze to fill when necessary.

Kayfun owners - Do you fill from the top or the fill hole?

So it arrived yesterday and I am actually pretty impressed. Filling it was not as much of a headache as I had expected and the flavor was better then expected. In my opinion it us better then my kayfun v5. Not as good as the newer mini but very good. I am running some diy vanilla custard pudding through it 18mg 60/40 VG/PG blend and it's wicking like a champ. Running just simple round 26g ka1 2.5mm inner ohming out to 1.2 at 18w and as I said I'm very impressed ! My only complaint is in traditional kayfun fashion its super tall. If it was shorter I have a feeling it would be one of my fave mtl setups. All in all I am super stoked I picked this up and if anyone has any tips on where I can find some parts to mod it and make it shorter that would be awesome.

P.s. I still can't believe that this 2 year old atomizer is giving this great of a vapes ! Being a kayfun v5 owner it almost feels as if svoemesto has taken a step backwards with there newer design (well besides the top fill, juice flow control and AFC) I can see now why so many people wanted it brought back. Best purchase I have made this month!!!!!!

Take a look at the Kayfun in my avatar it is only 30 mm tall not counting the drip tip and 510.

Get drip tip, base, and barrel and one of the flat top bell cap. A great pocket Friendly vape.
