Hello,

After using my kayfun Lite Plus V2 (original) for two and a half weeks, I've noticed some discoloration on the positive terminal block. Check the pictures (taken with flash on and off, I hope you get a better idea).

Why is that? Does it come from the juice? The cotton that's laying over the block? Have you noticed something like this in your Kayfuns?
Thank you in advance for your answers.

It's possible your center pin wasn't screwed down tight enough, or the block was twisted slightly when screwed down on a device causing a short between the chimney sleeve and the positive block, or maybe from positive block to negative terminal. That's the main design flaw with the kayfuns IMHO, is that the center block can short out if it's not aligned properly and screwed down tight.

If you take a look inside the chimney do you find similar scorch marks?

Thank you for your answer.

Since I knew about the Kayfun centre pin flaw, I was very careful and I'm pretty sure that I've screwed tightly the centre pin every time. I also didn't have any shorts when screwing the coils.
No, I didn't find any other or similar scorch marks nowhere else. Everything else have remained totally intact.

These marks seems to be like burning or something like that.
