Tomorrow my kayfun will be arriving along with 100ft of each 28g and 30g Kanthal.
I also have at my disposal 30g kanthal, 2mm silica, a bag of organic cotton and an ohms meter. (Cheap one that happens to be consistently off by +.2ohms.. Provari far more accurate.)
Now is to my question, which coil would you suggest I attempt first?
I prefer a cooler vape and intense flavor.
My plan was to first try a micro coil with cotton in the 1.5+ohms range, but I really have no idea how many wraps of what gauges I would need to fall into that range or if I should even be shooting for higher ohms seeing as I like a cool vape.
Also, I prefer minty/menthol fruity flavors.. The people at my local B&M are advocates of sub ohm mechs and most if not all the employees use them regularly.. And in my brief adventure to the mech side they often suggested that I not use menthol with the build I was using (built by them .5 and .8ohms) as well as 6 or less mg nicotine.
Does any of this ring true with a higher ohm build?
Googling has left me with more questions than answers so I come to the Provarinati for some guidance.
