Welcome to the forum!

Meh, never was a fan of Kayfuns. I don't get their popularity. I've had nothing but leaks and gurgles with them... no matter how hard I try. Gave one away, and the other is collecting dust. It's the one atomizer I trust the least.

Squape-R.. much better. easy refil, better chamber, better flavor, better airflow, and no leaks.
Fogger V4... no leaks, but dual coil (I prefer one)
Subtank.. no leaks easy refill. with the occ coils, plenty of juice, and I rebuild the occ over the RBA deck.

Because built correctly they never leak, and always work.

Kayfun was designed long before mods went past 10 watts- the 2 is even the same size as an ego- it never was and never will be a lung hitter or cloud chaser.
For a the people who put down the airflow it wasnt designed for your style of vaping in the first place then.

Yea, it's been one of my most frustrating atomizer. I've had a kayfun lite for over a year. I've probably built that thing over a hundred times. It's always leaked out the airhole or dry hitted. Was using it on a Vamo for a while. I got used to keeping the mod upside down to avoid it leaking out the airhole. Once, I had it not leak for 2 days. When I rebuilt it, it started leaking again. Tried both cotton and silica, replaced the chimney oring, ... Everything.

My squape-R.. did a good build the first build... but still took me about a week to master though.

Fogger V4... I can't ever remember it leaking. sometimes I can have a dry hit build, but never a leak.

Subtank...same as the fogger.

Gotta ask, is it a clone? I've clones and most of them work flawlessly. But there's some that just doesn't work.
So in that case i can see your frustration.

Is your kayfun a clone? Several of the clones dont compare at all to the real ones. And many people have had this issue with cloned versions

Yes, tobecco version if memory serves me. And it has been reviewed as a good version. In either case, it's shelved and I've found better options. Took me a while to find a good single coil atomizer, but the Squape-R and subtank have filled that gap. It'll make a good decoration when I get a vape shelf.

Hi and Welcome to ECF. I almost hate to admit I own 20 Kayfuns V1's V2's 3.1 and Lite plus. I think they are great. When I first started using them I had a lot of issues but, once I learned how use them and the do's and don'ts they serve me well. I really like to be able to taylor my coils to the juices I use.

I'm glad that you found what worked out for you, and at the same time i'm sorry you're/you've missed out on the great kayfun experience. :-|
It might have been due it's a bad clone or this tank wasn't for you. :/

I've had luck i guess i ordered the first batch of v2 clones at FT back in the day, and those we're flawless.
It makes me think though... Orginal that cost $$ or cheaper one... I'm still thorn on that part, i mix match clones / auths ^^ But i wouln't buy xx auths just due their pricing. So it's hard to say... Go for auth right away and dive into the deep sea or buy a clone to test the waters (as i did)

Since it's a tobecco i suspect that it's the juice channels - they're to small i guess? (If so try drill em out abit, and then try em again you might get surpriced.)

I went from protanks to kayfuns and been using kayfuns for a looong time now. It all in how you wick them, I've not had any leak nor dryhit and been very happy with their performance. I use only rayon, able to run 25+mls through it before I feel the need to change wicking. I do have a couple original kayfuns, several clones and a Russian and have had nothing but success and happy vaping with those attys
