Kayfun shipping delay for Fasttech customers

Just thought I'd share this in case someone's in the same boat as I.

They're shipping free Drip Tip Adapters and Stainless Steel tank Sections with all delayed orders so I guess I'm okay with waiting a little longer. Just sucks that all my other goodies are stuck in Hong Kong with it...

Supposedly after the supplier gets caught up they will be in regular supply and they should be available. We just don't know when exactly that will be.

Yeah, the waiting is killing me. This will probably be the last time I buy from FT unless it's something I don't mind waiting for. I have 2 chemesis, a z-atty clone, batteries, and silica all stuck in Hong Kong because of this delay. I also have an Svd and other goodies I ordered before this and they're still in Hong Kong as well...

Needless to say, I've learned my lesson.

Batteries will get stuck in customs, so I buy those domestically. I've received at least 3-4 shipments from Fasttech in California. The first order was painful due to expectations (I want NOW!). Shipping time was always within 2 weeks. Since I can't find better value.. I still buy from them. Also, I work in Supply Chain and ship stuff to HKG all the time. knowing what a pain HKG customs are, I don't fault fasttech for it.

I haven't owned a kayfun before, what's the drip tip adapter? Does a 510 drip tip work with or without it?

With FT, I figure the wait is part of the deal. I just don't order anything from FT that I need right away.

It's all about expectations... I don't expect fast turn around, and all is well.

It wasn't like this with FT before they last holiday, something happened that holiday week in october that caused all kind of problems that weren't there before.

Regarding the KF clone i ordered mine on the 18th, it still says restocking, we'll see when they start shipping

Same here, ordered on 10/18 and had a scheduled ship date for 11/5, now shows restocking.
Just will wait and see.

Mine was ordered on 10/19. I got it yesterday. I have a Russian 91% on order thru a coop, but that deal is taking much longer...

I am impressed with this knock-off. F&F is very nice. Threading is excellent on everything EXCEPT the air flow set screw, which needed thread tape to have even a chance to work at all. Taped up it works, more or less...

No leaks at all so far, and the performance is kick buttalisious! Set up with a 1.2ohm vertical micro coil and loose cotton.
