kayfun is the best tank out right now.

That's a pretty bold and incorrect statement IMO. I have 4 KF's (clones) , an authentic R91, a SQuape R and an Erlkonigin. Without a doubt, the SqR and Erl are much better than the KFs. Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking KFs. I like my KFs. They perform well and kept me off the stinkies until I got what I really wanted.

You want clouds a tank aint going to get it for you. If you want to chase clouds use a dripper with High VG juice. I have yet to get a tank to put out the same vapor as an RDA. Problem is juice feed. In order to get good juice feed you go with higher pg juice but high PG juice does not produce big clouds High VG does. The closest i have come has been with the Fogger V4 and Aqua. They also have the best air flow control.

As I sit here gently rocking back and forth watching Rory and Dustin battle it out and Lewis and Nico put on another fine display at qualifying at Hockenheim, I'll add my 2 pence worth of observations if I may.

1. It was inevitable I suppose but we are now at the stage where folk are now talking of devices as being the originals when quite clearly they are but clones of an original idea. Does that matter in the great scheme of things? Possibly not but it does bring into question whether mod makers will bother to continue with bringing out new designs or will we have to rely upon new designs coming solely from Chinese clone makers and they eventually losing the tag of clone makers. Or will there become a major battle between Chinese original device makers and their counterpart clone makers. Interesting times ahead possibly.

2. A number of the newer vapers don't appear to want to put in the hours of studying battery safety, coil & wick building variables and maintenance details to ensure a safe, flavoursome vape. They are easily impressed by videos of cloud chasers, as they see that as being what vaping is all about. Does anyone recall sitting in a bar during the 'good old days' having competitions to see who could blow the largest smoke clouds from their various coffin nails?

3. Will this lead to many of the above returning to cancer sticks after they realise they are simply not getting the vaping satisfaction they originally sought or have become concerned at the number of their compatriots receiving facial reconstruction procedures and digit transplants.

4. As in real life the standards of good manners, patience altruism and education is steadily declining. How will that affect vaping per sé? To be confirmed at a later date.

5. As like many educational establishments throughout the world, will MENSA start to lower its entry standards, or if not, will they become even more elitist, or even close in another generation or two? Time will tell.

6. Now 2 pence the poorer, back to what I consider more important issues, like the imminent arrival of my strawberry stealing great granddaughter, rather than wasting my time on something I wouldn't normally give time of day to.

Kayfun is a good solution for people who got tired of going through a 5 pack of Kanger/Aspire/whatever coil heads in less than that many days. Wind your own coils and solve the problem and vape great flavor.

You can't compare a .38 snub nose revolver to a .44 Magnum Ruger Super Blackhawk and derive a meaningful comparison. One is for close proximity protection and the other is for blowing things up. Don't get mad at the .38 because it won't bring down a deer.

Rip blows a cloud from a Kayfun Lite.

Never had a problem with any of my Kayfun Lite clones, save for a Tobeco. It was the cheapest one of the bunch, so I'm not surprised. Ehpro makes a great one, and I recommend theirs to anyone in the market looking for a clone. Not all clones are created equal. You need to do your research on which is best before knocking the overall design of an atty. you also need to do your research on what kind of vaping an atty is meant for.

For large clouds, you want a dripper. There is simply no other alternative for cloud chasing. It you don't want to drip, then get a Reo or something like it. You can then keep a bottle of juice on board the mod and squeeze when needed. No more dripping, and you still get the dripping experience. A Kayfun, no matter which version, is not for cloud chasing. They're for flavor and are usually a better alternative for those sick of spending money on coils for clearos and carros for carto tanks. Personally, I have them to replace my carto tanks. Got them to be a little more prepared for any regulation or taxation of e-cig supples. Cartos are meant exclusively for vaping. Cotton and kanthal are meant for many other things, therefore making it harder to ban or tax. The Kayfun offers comparable taste to a carto tank, while clearo mute flavor for me.

Some of best tasting vapes I've had were from the Aspire Nautilus, Aspire BDC CE5, Kanger Evod, and plain old cartos. Sometimes, a Protank will surprise you and produce some high flavor vapor from a cotton wick. I'd still be buying coils for them if I could get coils that last more than a day.

I'm been vaping the Kayfun for a while now, and it varies in flavor from wick to wick until you develop a feel for the right amount of cotton in the coil. Twist the end down to a point that lets you insert it into the coil and pull the cotton through until you reach a point where it's filling the coil, but pulls back and forth easily. The entire wick will blossom as it absorbs juice, so it needs to be loose, but lightly filling the coil. If it's loose enough to pull back and forth it's probably a good size.

im getting 2.2 ohms , howm any wraps do u do ( ido 8 wraps 28g)

8 wraps of 28ga gets me 1.5 ohms with a 1.83mm coil rod on the Artistic Coil Winder from Amazon or Hobby Lobby. It's the length of the wire that determines resistance, so coil size also affects the outcome.

As I read through this thread I am just... Floored. Toys? Goodness.

I believe this thread should be allowed to slowly be banished to the depths of ecf and after reviewing op's post I have either two theories. Either the op is a troll meaning to stir up the pot, or I doubt the op is even old enough to be on this site and using a vaporizer.
