Keep losing drip tips!

So for the past year or more, I go to work with my V4L lanyard around my neck, a VK batt, and a pre-filled carto, life ( such as it is at work) was good. Had no problems doing the stealth vape thing, going into the breakroom and vaping away (my co-workers and managers are used to me vaping by now).
But in the last 3 weeks I've lost three derilin drip tips when I go to vape.This has never happened before and am wondering what I can do to stop the innocent slaughter of my beloved drip tips! I've resorted to using the rings that come on the blanks instead of drip tips, but to me it's like eating tofu instead of ribeye.
Any tips or tricks appreciated!

Hmmm, if you hadn't had this problem for a year, what has changed in the last 3 weeks? Do you wear the lanyard inside or outside of you clothes? Different clothes? Weight change? Different activities? Hard to know what may be causing your problem.

My experience is that the ming vase & calabash fit tighter than the delrin DTs, perhaps they're worth trying?

Nope Katz, nothing has changed, keep the whole rig inside my shirt, haven't gotten big(er), still work a very active shift. I just go for a vape and the tip is gone. Haven't heard a 'ping' when if falls to the ground, have retraced my steps, and nada.
Maybe I am absorbing the tips like the Borg in Star Trek

Thanks for the tip iowajosh, but i don't like metal tips. Probably cus I have so much metal in my teeth

I can understand your frustration. I can't imagine why the problem now if you haven't had it earlier But I know I am always losing soft rubber drip tips (I use the laynard too). When I go to use it, it is naked....

Believe it nor not, I think the cartos are not consistant in size. Sometimes the drip tips fit snug, other times.. they disappear into the great beyond, never to be seen or heard from again. I don't understand why my path is not littered with them, but when I retrace my steps, nada!

Perhaps if you cut the end off a carto condom, and slide it on such that half is on the carto and half on the DT. Seems like it would help...

I like blue's idea too, or maybe even just try to get used to taking the tip off and putting it in your pocket til ready to use.

I tend to agree with that MystStick, there does seem a variation in how snugly the tips fit in. I don't like metal DTs either Plantlvr, probably for the same reason. Though these days there's more plastic than metal ....

Hey Plant....just curious...how old were these Delrin DTs? If they have seen some extensive use it might just be that the O-rings were worn and need to be replaced.

Snow do you know anywhere someone can get new O-rings of that size or even for the tanks when/if those wear out?

I didn't think about O rings wearing out! But Blues idea worked! Used it all day at work and it stayed on....but it was a new drip tip. So need some of those O rings I guess, cmon katz spill the source pleeezeeee!

Yep used and abused Didn't think about having to change O rings, I'm proud of myself when I remember to get the oil changed in the car!

Same with me about changing the oil in the car! I also would love to change these
o-rings...where can we buy this size?
