First off, I'm sorry if I should've tagged this onto an existing thread. I'm a month old vaper, new here and very much feeling my way around the forums.

I bought a 10mg 10ml bottle of KPB after reading numerous rave reviews; it sounded exactly like the juice for me. The only problem is.......well, what is it exactly meant to taste of? The bottle I have, I get a second or two of a nice tobacco flavour and then everything after that tastes like burnt logs. Not that I've tasted burnt logs, but this juice is exactly what I'd imagine burnt logs to taste like. Simply put, it's unvapable. The burnt taste is so overpowering that it absolutely destroys the couple of seconds of niceness I get before it. The reviews I read said it has a pleasant caramel/nutty taste but I get NONE of that.

At first I put it down to my first burnt tasting clearo because nothing could taste THAT burnt, so I put it in a freshly cleaned one and I get the same results. I put it in a brand new clearo and same thing again.

Does this stuff simply not agree with my tastebuds or does it sound like I got a bad bottle? Bearing in mind I have the Kentucky Vanilla Blend and I'm absolutely in love with it. I get the aforementioned delicious couple of seconds the whole way through but with an added vanilla shot. I'm so confused :?:

In almost a year of ordering I haven't had one bottle of premium blend that tasted burnt. Are you vaping it at too high of a voltage? For me personally, anything above about 3.8v and juice tastes burnt for me. What is your setup?

Anyhoo..I get a nice smooth flavor with every vape, even chain vaping unless I accidentally burned a carto or something.

The only explanation is that it may need to steep. I have never run into the burnt taste with any liquid unless it was a carto that I let run dry or a clearo that I didn't let the wicks soak in enough. All tastes vary so ya never know. Let is set for a week or two and come back to it and let us know what happend! Wait a minute.... that post was in May!! It should have had wayyyyy enough time to steep so what's the verdict?
