KGO plus tank - would like a "shorty" cone piece

Just got me my first tank. Haven't tried it yet. The KGO cone piece doesn't fit with the tank on there - I didn't expect it would.

So with the tank on there, the cone/outer threads are exposed. Not a big deal, but it looks a little shoddy. Be nice if I could get/make something that would fit over those when using a tank for a cleaner look.

Are there KGO shorty cones or some such that will fit with a tank?

Hoosier sells a tank adapter for the KGO - covers the threads and looks good.
