Hello all, while I joined in 2010 I haven't posted much. Started vaping in 2010 with a cheap pen PV, stopped and went back to analogs, and recently off analogs for 5 weeks now. I just bought and charged up my KGO.

OK when I take a hit, it seems to be hot on the mouth a little, I feel a strong hit in the throat but not much vap comes out. I don't take deep hits either, never did this with regulars either.

I filled my LR Boge's the condom way, blew each way to make sure the center is clear. Any suggestion's or is this how the vap is suppose to be? My battery were charged for a full 8 hours before use. (well one battery I puffed to test before charging once).

I first tried the RY4 from elite vapors and it is 24 mg

it doesn't say what the ratio is on the label.
Hi Lera
Been using my Kgo for 4 months now. Very satisfied.
I use Boge 2.0 LR cartomizers
Also I use mostly 100% vg juice.
LOTS of vapor
Have you tried Johnson Creek Red Oak line of 100% vg juices? They have a Quality product.
Keep us posted.

Edit: I also use a drip tip. It keeps the hot carto away from my mouth

Well, IDK. Most days I use a KGO or EGO Twist with a 2.5 ohm carto and 60PG/40VG and get plenty of vapor. Higher nic juices also increase the throat hit sensation. I only use 12 mg/ml - Don't like a strong throat hit. How long did you let the carto sit before vaping? It has to sit for a bit to let everything absorb and settle.

You said it feels hot on your mouth. Are you using a drip tip? If not, get one.

24mg will give a pretty strong throat hit. I suspect your juice is 80/20 (pg/vg), which won't give as much vapor as juice with a higher vg content.

Also, are you holding the vapor in your lungs at all? If so, you won't get much vapor on the exhale. (I know because I will do that when I'm stealth vaping some times.)

With some use, you will quickly learn how the KGO vapes and will adjust your vaping style to it.

I've had the KGO for a month and the batteries are supposedly putting out 4.2v off the charger and then declines to 3.8v as you use them. With a LR carto it will be warmer than what you are used to, likely 3.3v with a higher resistance carto. Especially freshly charged. But the main thing is to take long, slow drags instead of what you are doing now. It doesn't help to hit it harder or faster because the juice still needs to turn into vapor, It's not gonna hurt you if your carto is filled right and not burnt up. If you start to taste anything burnt, stop vaping and reevaluate your carto.

Well hello, A very nice poster sent me a bunch of trial juice, and I bought a few too. I do have some 100% VG juice from American Liquid Store, I did try that but no go. I ordered a drip tip just now from Vapor King

Most of the juice that is flavored is too strong right now and I think that is because of me quitting regulars my taste buds are wide awake and everything is strong right now. I don't want to order too much juice because all is too strong right now. I ordered some chocolate hoping that won't be too strong.

I just tried mixing some of my 100% VG into the RY4 I just got with my KGO. Same thing with the vap.

I filled two of them while the battery was charging for 8 hours. So they sat there for 8 hours for one carto then the other 13 hours.

Oh thank you I couldn't describe how I vap, so with your post now I can. No I do not hold it in my lungs hardly at all. It is a tiny hold, not long either. What is the difference between pg and vg and what is the best health wise?

Munchichee, I just took a longer drag, and it was 3/4 of what I think it should be. A little better then the short drags however I feel the heat a little more on the long drags. I'm trying.

Do you know the ohms resistance of the cartos your using ? If its 1.25 or 1.5 it will get hot . Pg is thinner and less vapor ,vg is thicker and more vapor . Nicotine will give you throat hit and I think pg enhances it . You do not need to charge your kgo for 8 hours as the instructions say . Those instructions are outdated , only need to charge till the light on your charger turns green .
