The only reason I went with these SLB kGo batteries is because next to the true Joyetech eGo battery, they are the only ones I really think are tried and true and/or trusted among the vapers.

All the others claiming to be eGo batteries are even further "knock offs" (SLB kGos are as well, but have offered higher voltage on their non VV models over the eGo) of the Joyetech eGo.

To each their own I guess. I am not too keen on that freecigs one... but it does look nice :)

Joyetech now has a match for the Kgo with their Upgrade models. They are selectable from unregulated (like the Kgo) to regulated like the regular ego. They also have protection against shorting and over-discharge.

I have some of those. But, it sounds like you backed up my thoughts.

Yeah I hear you. But at the price ($27 ish with coupon code) I think it's worth a shot. An ego sized LavaTube with 3.2amp limit and replacable 14500 batteries *shrugs*. But we shall see!

    Just received mine.

Looks pretty good so far. Just barely started doing some vaping, but all is well. The button is okay... kinda wish it was the good ole fashioned eGo style button.

Looks like they had to use a micro USB port for this one, mini would have been too large. Bummer because I don't have a lot of micro USB cables around.

    All gone!

So me sitting at home vaping like I usually do, I got through 2.5ml (@4.8-5 [I varied it a little till I got the taste I wanted] volts) of juice before the battery blinked and no longer would fire.

I estimate what I had thought earlier in the thread, 3-4 hours. This would be enough for me to get through a day of work, since I can't sit and chain all day.

    Not bad!
