ahem................I smoked 2+ PPD for 35 years..........at the current cost of cigarettes in NJ it would cost me about $22.00 per day to smoke.........multiplied by 30 days in a month...........no accounting for leap year as some months have 31 days......the grand total is $660.00. In my statistical analysis..........I can buy any mod I want, an ounce of joose a week or more and still be ahead of the game................PLUS...............I AM ALIVE and have decreased my probability of another heart attack by 50%, my pulmonary function was 67% when smoking and is now 98% , my blood count was morphologically critical when smoking (My red blood cells were extremely large and my hemoglobin carrying capacity was dangerously low and I was oxygen deprived) 18 months after NO STINK STICKS.............my blood and pulmonary function showed me a clinical NON-SMOKER. Instead of ....justifying what we spend on e-cig stuff and calling it a hobby, call it preventative medicine and money well spent to keep you off the stink sticks and interested in a new way to live and breathe and enjoy a long life ...............WITHOUT OPEN HEART SURGERY AT AGE 45!

Consider the above all good defensive points for the small expense of vaping. Life vs Death. Life on heart bypass with a tube down your lungs breathing for you is not my idea of beginning a new HOBBY. Vaping is your lifeline to a smoke free world..........without vaping I would be 6 feet under and I am glad to pay for whatever I choose to keep me off cigs and onto vaping.

second rant finished..................ahem.................now what chapter of the Novella are we on?:p:p

Can anyone recommend a good, quick place to order Cisco LR 306's from? The only ones I can find at the moment are the 'generic' and I have no clue who's making them
I use the cisco lr 306s also on my 3.7 batts/mods and I love them. But yeah, there is a lot to like about having the options available that the Pro-Vari gives you. For one thing, any atty you already own can work on it just fine. HV attys on it perform like rock stars. And it does wonders with a MAP tank if you like them.

Phorbin beat me to it. I also order from Avid. If you google it there are a couple other sites that come up, but when you go into the site and look at the description it doesn't say Cisco in the site. Avid is the only place I have found them instock. It's like $20 for 2 and it come's with a drip tip!

The more and more I vape "V" spot....the more and more it's HITTING the spot! Has a really nice TH, smooth flavor....and a very REFRESHING vape! Not heavily sweetened...just a really refreshing vape. The more I vape it the more I dig it. However I'm just about out :(

Thanks Yissm for what I think is going to be a really solid all day vape. Especially for those that aren't into vaping really sweet liquids all day. I think this will be for you!

Bob . . . Can't tell you how much I appreciate your hooking me up with the 5 volt box mod you endorse . . . this puppy ROCKS! My first experience with 5 volts and I could not be more pleased! The Mod is really well-built and the service was right out of your book! KBV joose and a great Mod . . . it doesn't get any better than this . . . I'm elated!

Anyone who is thinking of taking the 5 volt plunge at a really good price for a quality 5 Volt Box Mod should PM or Email Bob for info . . . Thanks again, Bob!

I really need to look at the monkeyboxx. The guy that makes them is only 30 mins from my house. I need to go and check them out.
:p Okay boB you can come back now.
I get about 7 hours on my small battery at an average of 4.7, on my unnamed digital electronic device as Bonniegirl puts it.:thumb:

Time to face the opinions of our loyal KBV vapers....
A lot of posts on the 306 atty from Cisco...someone please tell me why they prefer the Cisco over the Joye 306? What are some of the differences or experiences?
I use the Joye LR 306 and before ordering 2 more, I'd like to get some opinions please.
No, I have no clue what oHm the Joye LR 306 is, so if anyone wants to jump in and tell me that would be great:unsure:

For the price of entry into 5V vaping a mod, a charger, and a set of batts for $44?? Can't beat it I wouldn't endorse it if I didn't feel it was a terrific deal. They will be linked on the site for purchase :)

Hey Bob
AND
Those digital electronic super duper high priced metal tubes of fascination can even parallel park your car for you!

ahem..................YES, I am old as dirt and vaped when a choice was 510,901 or 801 penstyle and which Dekang e-liquid was your fave................It is a big wonderful world now, isn't it?

The bottom line for me? I own 20 mechanical mods and two vvs, the first an xhaler (first edition) and bought for posterity and my collection and still a mechanical mod. I own 1 electronic mod and guess where it is going? Back to the maker for repairs. It seems it is haunted.........the switch goes on when sitting on the table and chooses not to go on when pressed. Was it cheap? Hell no! Is it popular? YES...................is it reliable?, would I leave the house with only it as my mod? NO WAY!

Got one of those Box mods and feel safer with it at $44.00 than my 159.00 super duper dial-a-vape!

JMHO, don't shoot the messenger..........please, I am old and sick and tired and my arm is so weary from all the painting....teehee:p

Congrats to the new mod owners, if you are happy, I am happy:laugh:

Just my $48.98 cents worth.:2c:

Bullet, I do not want you hanging...........I have used LRs in the past before 5 volt mods were readily available..........you see all are really reaching for around 5 volts. Take a 3.7 volt mod and put an LR atty and voile....around 5 volts. There is a wonderful chart available by RalphT which I am unable to find atm. If you search his posts you will find it. You input what volt you run at and what you want and it tells (much like the old multiplication table style) How many watts you need or want.
I hope that is a bit of an answer. Mod ho does know this..........run too low on an LR atty with too much battery voltage and you will hear a pop.

Bullet bowes her head to Bonniegirl, turns and walks away with her head hanging...."so what's the difference between a Cisco 306 atty and a Joye 306.....I guess I'll never know.....hummmmmmm." Bullet kicks some dust with her boots, puts her hands into her jacket, lowers her head and walks back to the hidey hole. "V spots, G spots, Sweet spots.....5v too much of a TH for me, 3.7 doesn't seem to be enough....I'll have to find something. It's almost 7 months of vaping and I think I'm getting borded...everything is starting to taste the same....what am I going to do?" Bullet hangs her head and walks away into the sunset towards the lake......
