Thank you all so much. It is support like this and that of my girls and husband that makes me want to keep fighting these diseases no matter how hard they try to knock me down. I have so many more miles to go before I'm ready to let go of life, especially when I have those days/nights when the pain becomes so great that I start to question if it is worth it to keep fighting. All I have to do is think of the many people who offer support, prayers, and pearls of wisdom regarding how much I have left to do that gets me through it all.
There are no proper words to express my sincerest thanks...but please know I am grateful to have all of you in my life and your words not only provide comfort but also the need to fight for as long and as far as my will can take me.

Good afternoon Hidey Hole friends and welcome to KBV radio, the sounds of the old, the new and the..ahem..........well, just sounds. We also would like to remind our listeners that the opinions and rantings of the hostess are not necessarily those of kick bass vapor and in no way are a reflection of or even close to their views or morals..........ahem.........With this new show, we hope to provide some basic knowledge of different e-cigarette subjects and answer some frequently asked questions. After a three year stint as a vaper and giving up the stinky sticks, I have learned a few things..........ok, a lot of things, that I wish someone would have told me earlier. I would be driving a far nicer car and have more money for shoes.........ahem..........Today's topic is a very frequently asked question.........There are some e-liquids that taste like perfume or chemicals and I do not like them.....why do they taste like that? Well, IFyou have taste buds that are still recovering and you taste that.......that would be low grade or old e-liquid. If you have good taste buds you may be in the "I think I am getting too picky about my e-liquid" group. There is a very easy answer to this FAQ. E-liquid is made of 4 major ingredients. The first we will discuss is Nicotine. Nicotine can be used as a pesticide at low grades. This nicotine is red to brown in color emits a very ominous and recognizable scent. Pharmaceutical grade nicotine, like that used in the nicotine patches is crystal clear and almost odorless. Lower grades of nicotine are "Buzz" producing but also may or may not have clear mg/ml strength as it is not tested for other chemicals or increased TSNAs (this is a 100 thousand dollar word for the by product of nicotine after it is broken down molecularly)Always ask a vendor what grade nicotine they use and ask if it is tested and has a certificate from the testing. Yes, you will not be popular, but you will like your e-liquid better and not waste valuable shoe or mod buying funds. The next major ingredient is PG (propylene glycol). Lots of people say, "It is the same stuff used in theatrical fog machines...................NO.........That grade of PG smells like a chemical bath. It is cheaper, it is the same color and it gives vapor the same but the aftertaste is something close to a inhalation of cleaning fluids in large doses in a closed bathroom.......(Men, you may need another analogy, it is like cleaning your garage floor with ammonia and leaving the garage doors closed) *I added that cause my hubby just learned what that unusually shaped brush under the bathroom sink was for when I had open heart surgery*.........ahem.........ask your vendor if Pharmaceutical grade PG is used. Smell your e-liquids and find if any perfume or chemical smell rises when it is settled, if it does........send it to the porcelain Gods and be not afraid to post for other vapers in the reviews section. YES, you will get flamed but you may save a new vaper money.*Note to self, hide yourself from fan boys of perfumey e-liquids vendors* .........ahem..........Now, onto the subject at hand......the next is VG (vegetable glycerine) This too comes in many grades and can have an odor if it is lower grade or older than it should be. The viscosity (thickness) of the VG is very different among brands. Many DIY folks use Wiltons brand which is for cake decorating and it emits a very sweet and sometimes offensive exhale IMO. This is actually mine and my oldest daughter's song!
At her high school graduation, after the ceremony, the tossing of hats, and the kids came back to the parents who were seated on the side with the students in the middle of the football field and the podium at the area before the goal posts, the kids came back to parents for pictures. After or rather in the midst of pictures, I pulled her aside to give her another gift. Her dad had already went with her to sign on as a co-signer so she could get a new car that wouldn't break down constantly while she was in college and working full-time as a CNA (she received her CNA and state board license while in her senior year; her CNA state board exam grade w/certification came in 2 weeks before graduation, which technically had her already graduating with an associate degree before she completed high school in 2006; the car she and her dad chose was a dark blue Mazda 3, 2006 model. The gift from me was a gold locket with long chain. The front was engraved with the letter of her 1st & last name since they are both start with the letter "T". On the back, which I had to get her to turn it over before she had a chance to wrap her arms around me b/c she loved the design on the front with her initial in the middle. On the back, I had it engraved, "I hope you dance..." She then hugged me and we both began crying those tears of happiness. I told her that day that her graduation was HER achievement and how proud I was of her for going the mile to complete high school and have an associate degree behind her already with the CNA certification; hwr, her acheivement was also my atonement for having her too young with a man who wasn't anywhere near good enough to be her father and how sorry I was for not being able to give her all the things she deserved as a little girl. That's when she told me I gave her all she needed: Unconditional love, a stable home, plenty to eat, friends she wouldn't have otherwise had, trips we took to Virginia, Washington, DC, and the museums in our capitol city, as well as a love for music and for history not to mention the gift of her singing voice despite my having ruined my voice years ago from not taking care of it. Plus, she added, I gave her a Dad who loved her just as unconditionally even though he wasn't her biological father and how he never made her feel 2nd best despite having a child of his own with me. She always felt loved as equally as her little sister, who was her birthday present as she wanted a little sister and on her birthday I had a level II ultrasound to rule out or in spina bifida. She told the doctor she wanted a little sister. So he put her on the table in front of the screen and showed her the video up close to introduce her to her "birthday present," a little sister just like she wanted. That kid walked on air for months afterward. She even held her little sister within an hour or so after she was born.
She said that as a daughter, she couldn't have asked for more than she had because she had everything that counted...
That kid always was wiser than her years, much like her little sister.
I hope the photos show up. I'm not sure if they will. One should it of my oldest in her wedding gown; the other should be from her graduation w/her dad, little sister, our grad, and me. Her little sis's hair went nearly to her backside & she had it pulled back in a ponytail that day because it was windy but hot. We have hot & humid here. Today, the little one has shorter hair, not quite shoulder length but she has lots more blond highlights than she has naturally. Her sister did the highlights then cut her hair and put it in half & half up-do for the 8th grade formal. Now she's joined the ranks of all three of us w/blond color highlights in our hair! It's almost a family tradition! Mine is usually quad-colored (4 blond variated color highlight, when I can afford it, which I haven't been able to do so). When she didn't have a class or only had 1-2 available to take for her degree, she took that time to take the entire cosmetology class at Paul Mitchell's to use as a backup and to earn extra money when she isn't caring for the elderly at a respite care center. She also visits a few times a month where she sings for them; they love it!
It's amazing the changes that happen over the course of 5 yrs! DH is as handsome as ever but then again I'm biased as well as the fact I still see him in my mind as the man he was 20 years ago b/c of my screwy sight. I've never added pics to the links here so I hope I did them right.

I'm starting to get worried about the KBV joose package i just ordered. It's been stuck in MO sorting facility since tuesday according to the tracking number and it was supposed to be delivered today(today was the estimated delivery date). Hopefully they just forgot to scan it or something.
Wow! It's Friday! Is it showing Hazelwood? I'd ask you the tracking but I'll see the same thing you see. That's strange every package has been making it in 3 days and many 2. Let me know if it doesn't show movement tomorrow.
EDIT WIERD week. I'm showing 5 from Monday not yet delivered and 5 from Weds already delivered??????????? Everything was scanned in Sullivan on drop off day but something is wonky in Hazelwood.

Don't worry, I was disapointed when I was tracking mine & it said was still there in Hazelwood? It was in my mailbox when I got home & USPS said it was still in transit lol. Not sure how that happened but I was pleasntly suprised!
YUMM-E - That's my review on Fiddle Paddle haha. This stuff is so good I seriously forgot to eat lunch yesterday because I was sitting at my desk at work vapin away without a care in the world. My boss came in the office & asked what smelled so good (which I'm totally amazed because she smokes analogs like their going out of style & she never can smell anything). I whipped out my PV & she's like ohhh you got your fake cig, I just don't know why you smoke that thing when it could be dangerous for you. Huh??(she just came in from outside smoked 3 cigs in 15 min) LOL. Been trying to educate her but she just wont have it.
Anyway - Fiddle Paddle taste is dead ON. Got 24MG 70PG/30VG Prodigy V3.1 on 3.7 Volts Boge LR carto. On the inhale its caramel bliss, on the exhale it's carmel popcorn. Lots of vapor & very clean!
I tried it on my Fluxomizer and same thing - Pure Heaven! You guys are the mixmasters for sure!!! I am HOOKED - Line and sinker
Anyway - Fiddle Paddle taste is dead ON. Got 24MG 70PG/30VG Prodigy V3.1 on 3.7 Volts Boge LR carto. On the inhale its caramel bliss, on the exhale it's carmel popcorn. Lots of vapor & very clean!

There isn't much that can pry me away from the Caramel Capp but Fiddle Paddle has the power to do it. Maybe some day we'll "bait a" that out to boost ordering although maybe it's best just keeping it hush ; -). *waves to skeeter*
Wheeeew, just checked tracking and it has updated finally and is "out for delivery" for today!! Too bad I gotta leave for work soon and wont get it for like another 12 hrs!!

Shipping was wonky this week for sure. You can see they were dropped and have an acceptance scan, been running super fast until this week.
Speaking of shipping I have the shipworks program up and running for the site.
