*nuzzles a bit under her blankey pack and takes out a plush sqeekie bear that is now sporting the thong she had found earlier*

*leans heavily into being scratched and swishes her tail slow but low*

I undastand aboot the barkOlounger. He made mention of it and how it be his. It's only right anyhow as there are unspoken things ta bein' a wolf. It comes down ta respect in da end and I wouldn't want ta upset him none.

*squeezes the bear in her muzzle her ears reacting to each sound it makes then starts to toss it up and catch it, fumbling it a bit here and there making the sound of a nose chuff*

Late start for me here, had to catch up on PMs, emails, and sending alternative payment method invoices ;-) Thanks for the overwhelming support to my post (the like button is good for something :p)

Ciego, yes I am always open minded and listen and take the advice of others. I still remember your post way back about paying yourself 1st. Now that doesn't have to be monetary it could be as simple as as you what mention today, take a day and spend it with you children and set everything else aside. Speaking of which next Thurs our youngest turns 12 and we will do just that. We should be able to follow the same schedule it'll just mean we'll work next Sat as opposed to next Thurs :)

Bob and Missy- I just have to chime in a little bit on you guys taking time for yourselves- whether it be lawn trimming or fishing or weekends away - whatever it my be......you have to do it:) and not feel guilty about it.

I run my shop the same way and I technically "work" all day and into the night - cause I love it;) I strive for amazing customer service - immediate turn around time and I can usually pull it off. I always feel guilty if I push an order aside, BUT

I dont think I have shared this here - but since everyone is opening up and all- hehehe....one of my little guys has epilepsy. My twins are 11 years old and he was diagnosed when he was 7. Its a darn tricky kind (occipital lobe)and no amount of medication has helped. My husband and I liken his epilepsy to a well trained boxer....we knock it out and it gets back up / adjusts and returns with a vengeance...but oh well - we keep it in perspective and know things could be worse. Being able to be there for him when they go wrong- is a priceless thing - even if other things fall to the wayside.

ANYWAY- back to time off or time for those things that are truly important. I am constantly "on call" for my Shane and do my best to juggle. But things happen and things need to be done-sometimes not so fun things like hospitalization for a week to try the ketogenic diet for epilepsy OR fun things like taking them to the pool cause they are kids and want to be there with their friends....
Bottom line:
You guys are fabulous. This hidey hole is fabulous. Your juice is fabulous... and those who are not patient- need to learn how to be - as anything worth a damn (and fabulous) is worth waiting for!!!

You guys do an amazing job and I am so glad I found KBV.....and I mean it!!!
Hugs!- Lauren

Good day my Hidey Hole family!

Someone (Chimney55?) was talking about Captain Kangaroo. Ah, Mr. Moose and the ping pong balls dropping on his head...Mr. Green Jeans, the rabbit with the glasses...great memories. LOL Wouldn't miss it for the world when I was a tot.

Funny coincidence. I was in Costa Rica, staying in a little surfer town on the Pacific coast (BTW, incredible deep sea and shore fishing, BoB). When I mentioned to the landlord of the resort where I was staying that I was from Minneapolis, he casually mentioned that there was a fellow with a recording studio also from Minneapolis who lived a mile up the mountains. Turnns out that he had worked extensively with my late father. The reason I mention this is that this guy owns the copyright to the theme from Captain Kangaroo.

For you trivia buffs, the theme song to Captain Kangaroo is called "Puffin' Billy" Kinda ironic, considering we're all here on ECF talking about vaping and such. So, win a trivia bet with this one. Captain Kangaroo theme = Puffin' Billy!

Lauren thanks so much :) I'll keep your little one in my prayers. I have a niece that was born with hydrocephalus and know some about the seizures and medication problems from what she's had to endure.

I feel so very blessed and like yourself we really enjoy what we do. I feel blessed in the fact that people here are so understanding. We've yet to encounter a problem where we've had to delay shipping or anything but I'm sure if done long enough it will happen, an illness or misjudging a flavoring and I know I can count on people to be understanding :) I really believe it all comes down to people just want honesty, I've watched other vendors make excuses that are obvious "fibs" and people can see right through that. I know personally that's the way I am, I know that "stuff" happens and if someone is straight with me, there isn't a problem. OTOH if that "stuff" happens and I feel I'm being told less than the truth I don't take it well and I think a lot of people are that way.

We don't have control over everything but we have control over the fact if we are being forthright with people about the situation, and that you can count on we will always be :) Thanks for the kind words and we're glad you found us too. I posted back a few pages and IDK if you saw it but we sent out "Bait A" samples of "Hobber Bobber Gum" instead of risking infringement using Hubba Bubba, we'll see what everyone thinks but even if we don't end up listing it we will always be able to make it for Erin if she needs more :)

I totally have to agree with you on that boB. You are the only vendor that I know that is generous and honest. You are here everyday to keep us posted on the store, even just to add to the Novella and just respond to posts. You are awesome. People respect that alot. I wished everyone was that way. Although I have to say that Steve does the same as well. Unlike a vendor I am dealing with, (no names mentioned) I am just appalled at how long I have to wait for my item. Been three months now. Still waiting. No response to email, no posting in the thread. I just don't understand it at all. So you just keep doing what you do, and you WILL be and ARE the best in this vaping community. I can't express enough of how diligent you are to us. So thank you for that <3

Basement Cat, your stuff will go out in the morning. Will will take it to the PO after his breakfast. Then we are off to the Cabin for the day and this weekend I plan on spending a couple nights there. That is bliss..no internet...no phone (just a cell that only 5 people have the number for an emergency)...no noise, the peace of sitting on the swing and watching the sunset....PRICELESS. I listen to my Detroit Tigers on the radio and read books on my IPAD...It is my weekend away from Will. He only comes at dinnertime to grill dinner.

I had a Doctor appt this morning and haircut scheduled for tomorrow..........then my jobs for the week are complete.....ah..ah...so nice to be finished.

Steve is awesome..I agree. Had a user problem (me) and he told me exactly what to do. I emailed him and he responded within a couple hours.

Well that's kinda why Steve and I support each other the way we do. I know if it came down to it Steve would take money out of his own pocket to make things right as would I, not to mention I don't think there is a better box all included for what he offers them for. :vapor:

Order updates are posted and we will be running a contest soon to name the Bananas Foster joose at the Hidey Hole :) The feedback came back as well as anything we sent out and are stocking the flavorings to have it listed soon. Look for the contest by tomorrow, rather than start another thread here we'll just do it there where we can run polls and so forth :) The Hidey Hole - Index

So glad to hear you will be stocking the Bananas Foster. I just got my package out of the mailbox literally 10 minutes ago and loaded up an ego with the Bait-A sample of the Bananas Foster. Yummy!! This sample won't be lasting long!
