Kick Bass Vapor Special K Review

Hey everybody, this is my first review so bear with me. I picked up KBV special k 70/30 pg/vg after trying numerous vendors. This is the first liquid I've really felt compelled to review.
Flavor: This is a tobacco flavor with caramel, honey, and maybe vanilla undertones. I think I taste a little raisin as well. Its not an RY4 but I would think most RY4 fans would love it. I get the sweet taste on inhale and more tobacco on exhale. There is absolutey no chemical or inorganic taste to me. Some reviewers state that they taste no tobacco but I definately taste that fresh unlit tobacco in there. I give flavor a 9/10 for likeability.
TH: If you like a super-dooper throat hit you might be disappointed a little but it is definately there and is perfect for me. I give TH a 7/10 for strength.
Vapor: Vapor is nice and dense. It doesn't linger for awful long but is plenty for me and would be thicker at a higher vg. I give vapor a 8/10.
I am extremely impressed with this flavor and could easily vape it with coffee, beer, whiskey, coke or after a meal. It makes a great all dayer for me!

Question: What nic strength were you vaping?

Suggestion: To double space inbetween paragraphs to make it easier to read

Thx 4 giving a read. I got 18mg with this juice which is pretty usual for me. Next time, double space it will be!

After reading this review, I got out my bottle of Special K from the juice cellar and gave it a vape. It's pretty good---improved by steeping time, I think, from my original reactions a couple months ago. It's a sweet tobacco, obviously. As most of us feel, KBV does sweet very well. I don't think they're as good at creating tobacco flavors, but that's just my subjective opinion.

The weird thing is that I also got out my more recent month-old bottle of KBV RY4 and comparison-vaped it against the more mature Special K. To my palate, these two KBV juices are very similar. I'm sure that KBV's owners would assure me that they're different recipes, but I can barely tell them apart. If I had to choose, I'd say that I like Special K better, in part because my expectations for an RY4 are somewhat different than KBV's formulation. Special K fares better for me as a sweet tobacco blend.

Its called Kick Bass Vapors. Very good juices. American made. Tried a few, descriptions are pretty good on the website. I think they're closed until 8/4/11 for vacation though.

Darn this thread! I was perfectly happy thinking that I wasn't particularly drawn to Special K and letting my 15ml bottle steep forever in the juice cabinet. Then I read the OP's review, got out my bottle of Special K, and was pleasantly surprised that it had improved (either that or my taste buds had changed). Now, I already have many, many fave tobacco juices in my daily rotation, so I assumed that Special K would go back into the cabinet. But it didn't.

After atty dripping Special K off and on over an entire day, I filled a 1.7 ohm resurrector XL carto and began vaping it in earnest. What do you know? I didn't want to stop. How weird. I mean, it's really not a very distinguished tobacco, per se, since it tastes more like, well, cereal (duh!). But here's the thing---that kind-of-like-tobacco flavor married to the sweet, toasty cereal taste was suddenly great! And even the signature KBV base tone stopped annoying me and started to taste good too. Go figure.

Anyway, over the past week I've vaped the entire bottle of Special K. Had to order another bottle today when the KBV web site began accepting orders again. Also ordered Nutty Uncle and Bogart Tobaccos. Finally, since I've been enjoying Vapealicious' STL Gooey Butter Cake so much, I added a bottle of KBV's version---Gooey Better Cake---just to see how they would do that yummy dessert vape.

And so it goes. My wallet is another $30 lighter because I read ECF. LOL.

lol bill... I just did the same thing... LOVE Candys GBC and cant wait to see how KBV's compares...
