Kick failure?

I just bought a kick off the ECF classies & it worked fine for a few days, it was kicking out the vapor last night. I went to use it today, and nada-zip-zilch.


EA mod, Panasonic IMR 18650 freshly charged, cleaned the contacts on the kick, the mod, and the batteries... still no love. The EA works fine without the Kick in place.


Do they just fail without warning or am I missing something?

I blew one up putting a battery in backwards Other than that, it worked great for 3 months.

Post like this are why I cannot convince myself to try one. I just feel there is missing protection possibly due to size and my money is to important to take a chance.

Kicks aren't all the reliable. I've read of several people having them die on them or not even work brand new

Feelin' foolish now. I just stretched the side spring out a bit & BOOM!! here comes the vapor.

I've had one a couple weeks and its working well in a chi chi mech mod. I know the area where the side spring contacts cant be anodized or coated. some fine grit sandpaper would take care of it. glad to see you got it working. good luck
