I remember when Brandon (from eVolv) was on Vapetalk he said that there would be 'select' suppliers for distribution. Does anyone know who the Canadian supplier(s) will be?

HappyVaper is the only one that I know in Canada that has the Darwin. Jack what can you tell us?

As I understand it, Jack will be getting the Kick. I believe there are four vendors in the US that will be carrying it, but the only one I can think of off the top of my head is altsmoke.

Does this work in any tube mod then? Could I drop it into my Diamond from Parkes and be VV vaping?

Theoretically, it should as long as the inner wall of the tube is conductive and not anodized (you'll have to sand it down if it's anodized to expose the conductive surface), as there is a ground wire that needs to make contact with the side of the tube for it to work. The mod also needs to be able to handle at least an IMR 18650, because to use the Kick you need to downsize to an 18500 or 18490 with the rest of the space taken up by the Kick.

D'oh! Sorry for the double post

I haven't been able to confirm that altsmoke will be carrying them. I'll keep googling.

I've heard it was the following sites/stores;
nHaler (1st to sell it publicly)
Electronicstix
Super-T Manufacturing
JR Custom Turnings (in one of his mods? but can't verify, the site is down until 03012012 for maintenance)

but please don't quote me on it ;)

Well there goes my hope for dropping it in my woodvil

From what Mindfield is saying about the operation of the Kick, you can hack it to work in your woodvil - connect the Kick's ground wire to the negative terminal of your battery and you'd be set.

* just looked at evolvapor.com - it's a ground spring, even better. Get a small length of 18ga wire, tuck one end _in_ the ground spring, stuff the other end of the wire in the spring in the battery holder of the Woodvil. No solder required!

That's pretty much it, although in order to make it portable you'd probably want to install a thin metal strip that connects to the negative terminal and runs up the side so that when the Kick is installed and oriented with the ground wire toward the strip, it'll be properly grounded. Or just use a small square piece of metal and solder a ground wire from the bit up top that connects to the Kick to the negative terminal on the battery. Whichever. I'm not sure what the battery clearance is on the Woodvil so it may take some MacGyvering.

for wood mods, i would assume you can use Copper foil tape, running the length of the battery cavity , down to the ground, and soldered to the negative pad....

with minimal solder skills , should only take, 15 minutes, and that includes warming up the soldering iron. :p

then all you have to do , is make sure that the Kick is facing the proper direction, and you are set...

i see no problem that cant be solved.

Well then, I'm def going to look into one of these for my Diamond. That is, once I send it in to Parkes, get it replaced, and get it back :( Stupid switch has malfunctioned since day 1 and I just got the info to send it back to them a few days ago. I've been sick all day and haven't been able to make it to the post office so now I have to wait until Monday :( WAAAAAHHHH!!!
