Yep Mike that is about as far as we got to. Moonlight was easily better. Hidden Figures was great to see what Black People had to go through even though they were Genius's. Fantastic Beasts was also a real takeoff for JK Rowling. Really liked Nocturnal Animals was good also. Whats funny is when Dish shows all the PPV movies we've already seen for free. I love Kodi

Well...I almost had it set up!!! ( the Skystream). My grandaughter came over and within minutes it was set up. But then she downloaded...or whatever it's called...the Slingtv app (after we went on the PC and paid the subscription), went back to the tv, found AMC and Walking Dead...I was jumping up n down!.....then the whole screen went dark...and we couldn't do anything anymore to get it running again...the screen was then even saying that it couldn't connect to the Wifi! So she did something with her Android cell and said that the Wifi was fine:( But I think that she unplugged the box without shutting it down first and might have messed it up...don't know for sure tho.

Woe is me!!!

She's coming back Fri. to try again and I'm going to ask her to watch the actual set-up process on the SkyStream site.

I WILLBE STREAMING ...I'M DETERMINED!:)

Unfortunately...I was born simple-minded...

and I haven't improved a bit!
Knot me! I wuz brillyunt! Den da dain bramage set in. :(
But kodi is mind blowing. I found out about it and downloaded it on a whim. And became jaw-dropping astounded. Remember, pretty much anything that has ever been broadcast... and that's WORLD WIDE... can be found. As far as movies... you'll find you'll get access to them before HBO gets them.

One thing I dont get. All of these various "providers" like RAPIDGATOR, UPLOADER, etc.. - what do they get out the deal? Generally in life people dont provide services for nothing. There is no advertising in Kodi, so what do the providers get out of the deal. What motivates them to invest drive space and bandwidth? On such a massive scale?

I think they're up there cuz itz fun for them. Why are pirate sites up where you could d/l anything for free? True some charge but the vast majority are/were free.
Yeah, I know the WAREZ sites/groups exist for fun and bragging rights, but the scale of the streaming sites is so much more massive than warez ever was. Just think about the storage space required for all the vids........ And the massive bandwidth to serve it all up....
