I didn't plan to quit smoking but came about it in an odd way. Due to a bad decision on my part, I had to give up beer (or else!!) and realized after a few days that I didn't really care for it that much anyway.
With the added stress of the "or else" I was smoking even more than I had before (2-2.5 packs/day). I realized that my mouth tasted like an ashtray and since I was already giving up one bad habit I might as well add another to the list.
I talked to the wife one afternoon about it and we both headed out to buy some kits. Quite literally over night I went from 2 packs a day down to nothing. Don't get me wrong, there have been a few analogs here and there but for the most part I could care less about them. Everything I heard about the advantages of vaping proved to be true. One of the best decisions I've made.

I found that until I didn't have ANY cigs I did not enjoy vaping.

One day, I went home on a friday, with no cigs.... by monday I was enjoying vaping like I never had before.

That one or 2 cigs a day really did something bad to me, cuz as soon as I stopped that I never had a problem or craving again, and I just loved loved loved vaping.

AND If you slowly reduce the nic level, you probably can get to zero and might not have to vape or smoke. Not that I plan to quit vaping, but I am vaping zero nic off and on and my daily nic level is between 3 and 6 mg per Ml which is ultra ultra lite. Good Luck my friend Vape On :vapor:

I've been vaping for awhile now, and I haven't used nicotine in, oh, maybe six months. And I'd been vaping roughly 2mg nic before that for awhile. I had to start with a high nic level to get off the cigs, but once I was no longer smoking, moving down in nic levels a little at a time was easy.

That said, I used to think that if I could vape 0 nic for a month or two, it would be easy to quit vaping. I haven't found that to be true.
