My friend and I are deciding to make a stained finished, clean wooden box mod. Something along the lines of the Reo etc. It will be handheld. Essentially, it would consist of modding MP3 player's and ecig components together. The mp3 player will be a mid range, low power Creative brand player. 2k-3k mah lithium ion rechargeable battery, Micro USB, up to 28 GB SD storage, LCD screen, bottom fed 3.7v only and USB PT capabilities. A hots spring, a juice well carved from the box itself. We are still looking into regulated 3.7v cut off.
It will be sold on a personal basis for estimated roughly at $120 USD and will be a limited run of 25-50 units. No headphones or SD card is included. No pre order accepted at this time. But personal laser engraving my be an option once a prototype is released.
To get the ball rolling, we need to see if there is any interest? Given that price, we're not trying to make a killing. The fact is our e cigs never leave our hands. So maybe there is a need for one less device, sweet tunes or vaping while listening to the Vaporcast from one source? Perhaps just as novelty. But with smart phones nowadays, who knows? You're input is greatly appreciated and decides if this mod is being produced in the future.
