I order from exhakevapers, 2 was 19 and change, 10% off code (may10) saved me 2 dollars, shipping was 2.00. So basically free shipping on 2.

Thanks for the heads up on the discount code GraceH. I just ordered 2 myself--one in each size. I figure I'll use these RBAs in other tanks (my new Phiniac and some of the IBTanks I have), but you can never have too many spare tanks in different sizes, so I ordered one small and one large, sinc they are both the same price...

Well, that's basically it. But with the larger area in the Killer clone you can expand the amount of wick and coiling options you want to do, so it's more like a regular RDA in that manner.

In addition to that, it fits carto-tanks, which is the main draw as far as I'm concerned. I'm sure many of us have quite a few carto-tanks that we have invested money into, and like how they look and/or function, but have gotten into rebuildables and would prefer the same form factor of a carto-tank, but with performance more closely matching RDAs than cartotanks or clearos.

I'm sure some people have other specific reasons why they would prefer this type of set-up but those are mine.

This is what I was originally hoping as well. I'd really like to use my IB Tanks with the terminator. But I'm hearing that the juice connector makes it wobbly without a locking tank. I'm holding out hope I can avoid that route but won't be surprised if I need it.

dang. Missed the code. I searched for one and everything.

Well just received one, kudos for Stormy's vapor cellar for fast and prompt delivery. Ordered Wed, got it Sat within 3 days via first class shipping. Cleaned the top part and used the installed coil. Came out 2.4 ohms, primed the wick and threw it in one of my 19mm Ibtanked . Maybe I should have cleaned the bottom part and made my own coil. It is performing like what I imagined the Killer would. No leaks and I really don't see the need for a locking tank. I can easily twist it without unscrewing the top portion. I imagine an easy fill tank being useful but even just removing the top cap and forcing it back on slowly, I didn't get any leaking. As for flavor, it's not the same as my other RDA's, maybe I just need to break in the wick or maybe just need to make a new coil after cleaning all the parts thoroughly. Overall, I don't think I'll be going back to carto's anymore. I'm looking forward on purchasing a 705 Killer or Diver now.

Only thing that I don't like is the bulb shape and the fact that it's chrome plated. I wonder if it's ss or brass under it. I would have liked it to be just ss throughout the parts. Maybe in the next version. This thing is just fantastic considering the price.

Hey Jaseruckus, so you don't experience any wobbling of the tank with the juice control open? That's why I suggested the AGR, as it completely stops any form of wobbling. I tried my Killer Clone with the stock tank (which is just a smoktech slim dct) a 19mm IBtank, 22mm IBtank, SmokTech DCT (larger one) and several other random tanks I had sitting around. They all wobbled to varying degrees, except the AGR obviously.

so are these locking tanks or slide tanks. i have a locking UDCT carto tank, and I like the locking tanks better than the slide tanks. wouldn't mind trying one of these out, seen the websites listings, but I can't seem to figure out if they are like the DCT tanks, or the UDCT. thanks.

These come in a normal Smoktech DCT (some are selling the 3.5ml and some are selling the 5ml) which has no locking feature at all with the Killer Clone. These wouldn't work (well, wouldn't lock) with a smoktech UDCT either, as there is no flange.

Well the wobble is there but not enough where it bothers me. As far as locking the bottom part. Not sure, I'm not getting any sliding unless it's screwed in tight on the mod but then that would be too much and result in unscrewing the top section instead of the juice feeding section. This is actually much easier and less of a headache than my terminator-c (oddy clone). Terminator might end up collecting dust now until I can get a hold of the Euphoria ( penny clone).

The flavor is starting to kick in, just feel stupid for not just cleaning the entire device and just making my own coil before use. Was kind of excited to see how it performed. So far I haven't experienced much issue using the 19mm IBtanked, I'll follow up after a week of use. Like I mentioned before, I hate this chrome plating, I worry if certain juices might get affected by it. Plus it makes this thing look very cheap. Lol Guess I should have expected, since it is cheap to begin with. Pretty sure a colored tank will probably remedy that. Gonna see if I can get a Diver to compare this to, but then again I might not if this thing keeps performing like it's doing now. But I do want to pick up an AGR tank now.

I have had my eye on a Killer so sometime now but since I have yet to try an RBA I hoped a clone would come out with a similar build so I can see if making that jump is right for me. I hope to have mine in a next week. A question in the mean time:

For those with the Killer AND the clone, Is it the same cup? IE will the Killer cup fit the terminator? I would like to have extra cups so I can have extra coil and wicks handy and ready to go. I am out of town 5-7 days a week. If not I'll just have to be sure to bring extra cotton and carto's just in case.

I don't have the Killer but when I looked at the cup in this clone, it looked like the one I have in my Ebaron dripper. The ebaron and Killer uses the same cup and setup. If this is your first time using this type of RBA, make sure you prime the wick before screwing on the bulb top part. I shouldn't need to change out the coil and wick much, I know that my Ebaron wick and coil usually lasts for a month unless I just want to change ohms. I would just have extra non resistance, resistance wire, and some wick just incase. It's pretty easy to set up, down the line getting spare cups would make sense down the line. You shouldn't have any problems for a 7 day trip. If you want to change juices, you just take it apart and give it a good run through the sink, you won't be able to dry burn it because you won't be able to see the wires glowing. The bulb part has to be screwed on to complete the connection of the negative wire. Just dry it the best you can and add the new juice and vape it til the watery taste goes away.

Thanks for this thread. I've been wanting a Killer since I started dripping a couple of months ago, but the price is way out of my range.

I'll be using mine on an 808. Since it uses a 510 extender for flow control, I should be able to remove that and plug it directly into my 808 adapter instead. Anyone forsee any problem with that?

Jaseruckus Good to know. Thanks!!! Any other build tips for me?

Np, if you can't find any killer tutorials, just follow some of the ebaron dripper tutorials. They're basically the same. I know some people don't bother making non resistance - resistance - non resistance and just use kanthal. The reason people use non resistance is to avoid direct heat to the ceramic cup, only the coils on the wicks should be heated. You can pick up 100ft of both types of wire on ebay for cheap. The House of Vapors have the cheapest prices I've seen for silica. I use 2mm. Usually when I build my coils, I make 2-4 pre-made coils. Makes it much easier.

Whenever 405 vapors get's more ceramic cups in stock, might be a good idea to stock up. I believe those ceramic cups are thicker.

Sidewinder 7ml Pyrex Tank

I'm thinking these would be a good tank for the terminator: pyrex with a side fill hole. I have one thats a standard sized. Only thing is the fill hole plug as fell out a couple times but a small clear hair tie wraped around it makes me feel better and does the trick. Top fill holes are better but the price on those is more than I want to spend.

As for wire I did order 32 gauge of both Kanthal and nickel on ebay. I'm hoping the 32 gauge nickel isn't to big and doesn't cause issues getting the cup off. I'm gonna also look around locally: radio shack, lowes, ect. See if I can find a local supplier for wire. I'm sure I'm gonna be set for a good while with 100ft of each (assuming what I get is 100ft as described).
As for wicks. I'm planning to try cotton. I haven't been a fan of silica wicks in "stardust" type clearo's, so i don't think my opinion will change. I could be wrong. I'll use the wick and coil it comes with, you never know. Shrug. But I do like not having to buy EVERYTHING online. Vapemail is fun and all but when your not home to get the package I stress about getting it before the post office sends it back. (P.O. boxes are pricey for the larger ones. When my mother started Ebay buying the post office forced her to get a larger box.) I have enough DIY supplies to keep me going for quiet awhile. So I can get just get my tanks and killer and/or clone's online and be done with it. Oh, and a backup mod. But just one!

There's the AGR tank, they go for $10-$14, only thing is that they are not glass. It's polycarbonate, so it is somewhat resistant but I wouldn't test it out with cinnamon juices. So far though with a standard tank, I haven't had any problems with refilling by just taking the top cap off. I just tighten it down and refill. When I put the top cap on, I lightly put it on top and then I turn it upside down and then push the top cap on.
