Kind of a stupid question...

Can I charge a joye 510 with a joye ego charger?

Or will it burn down my apartment?

I remember reading something about this, but I can't remember....

mylose64, you can't charge a Joye 510 batt. EGO chargers are -NOT- compatible with regular joyetech 510 batteries - the output is too high and could damage them.

On the other hand you can charge Ego on 510 but it will be slow.

Only use the approved charger for your batteries! I seem to recall a thread where someone was charging an eGo with a 510 charger and the charger started to melt.

The moral of this story is only use an eGo charger for your eGo/Riva batts, and only use the 510 charger for your 510 batts. Don't play with fire, even if it is caused by using the wrong charger.

I think its probably because ALL of us had the same questions at some point.

Thankfully they are the pioneers that melted their chargers in the name of science. Now we all know and alot of chargers can be saved thanks to that (oh, and alot of apartments too!).
