Kinda random, but how do your animals react to you vaping

My "cat on crack" 11 month old kitten takes the vape I blow toward her and....sniffs it...looks at me funny...and goes about her business. She is ADHD....I thought it would mellow her out...NOT...but she loves the smells...just looks at me like..."is that all you got mister"..lol:D

And people say cats have no personality, lol. Over seven years of breeding and showing I have been in contact with literally hundreds of cats and kittens of all breeds and just like dogs, some are duds personality wise and some have way more personality and antics than any dog I have ever owned.

The dog and two of the cats ignored smoking and ignore vaping. The third cat, the really heavy one with tiny feet, loves vaping, and now wants to spend all of her time in my lap, mostly shifting around on those little feet and trying to poke holes in all of the softer portions of my anatomy. And, of course, placing that large, opaque body between my eyes and the laptop or tablet.

Since vaping, both the cats and the dogs have not really liked any flavor I have vaped, lol. When I blow out my vapor most of them run away. We never smoked inside so I attribute that mostly to them never seeing a plume of "smoke" before. My other cat Khole will want to smell my mouth if I have been vaping, but doesn't seem particularly to like anything he has smelled.

Try tuna flavour juices for your cats and bone marrow flavour for your dogs

:lol:

Cats rule dogs drool..... LOL

Lemme see now;
Pug/Rat Terrier (her dog) runs from the vapor. Not the smell either, I'm sure he's afraid of the cloud. Stoopid Dawg
Lucy, our devil cat, glares and struts away in a huff.
Henry, the juvenile kitty, weaves and bobs and will take tentative jabs at the vapor. When he realizes no substance he goes off to terrorize Stoopid Dawg.
George, the oldest and my cat all the way, will take a sitting position, stretch his neck just enough to get his nose into the edge of the plume and take several good sniffs. Satisfied that he's shared with me he proceeds to walk on the keyboard and go back to whatever perch he's using at the moment. George also drinks coffee and beer with me.
The chickens don't have a clue. they are after all chickens (-;

Have been vaping about 2 yrs. My blue and gold macaw mostly ignores it, unless I blow a big cloud and then she tries to bite/ yell at it. The funniest thing though is that she perfectly imitates the noise I make when I inhale whenever I take a hit.

She loves sweet tea, will be anyone's best friend if you give her a sip.

I have 2 cats and 2 dogs. One of my cats, the diva, totally ignores it...but then unless she's in the mood for attention she totally ignores everything. My other cat, miss curiosity is lucky it didn't kill the cat yet, is fascinated and even tries to sniff my drip tips when my mods are in reach. My dogs reactions depend on what I am vaping. Some liquids they seem to not notice or care, others they love and sit in front of me sniffing and begging for a bite of whatever it is they think I am eating without them.

I've got a lot more lap cat out of my little beast since I quit smoking. I blow the vapor away from her, as I did the ciggie smoke, because I don't feel she should have it in her eyes or lungs.

My horse lets me handle his face more happily since my hands don't smell of stinkies (and there I thought he was just head shy!), not to mention he was always uneasy if I lit up on his back, and now smooths his gait for me to take a vape when we are on the trails. I have to be careful of what I vape around him, or he will nuzzle into me looking for treats. Gingerbread, custards, apple, cinnamon. Fortunately I'm more into NET than sweets.

My dog used to make a face and show her teeth when I would smoke (she makes the same face when she gets her nails trimmed and grinded). She would make that face as soon as I pulled a cigarette out (before I lit it) and then walk away.

Now, I'll vape with her right next to me and she's unfazed. Sometimes she'll sniff in the air and come right up to me and smell my face.

She doesn't need to read warning labels to know that smoking is bad.

I have dogs and birds. The only time the birds saw smoking was outside - we bring their cages out sometimes in the summer. But they judge you more on other things. They're weird, like people, lol. They don't care if I smoke or vape, but they hate when I wear a hat. The bigger one is too interested in the e-cig itself (Oooh! Shiny!) so I can't leave that in reach.

The dogs act exactly the same with a- or e-cigs, which is a huge reason for me to keep on the e-cigs. So much better for their health. They'd sit right by me or on me while I was smoking, and if I'd try to shoo them off, they didn't understand. It hurt their feelings. I still put them away when I mix juice or load my tank, just to be cautious.
