My daughter backed into someone in a parking lot tonight in my wife's new car. She only has a permit and my wife was with her. Here comes that $500 deductible. I've been just about bled dry this summer. It's been one thing after another.
Man that blows. I just pay a slightly higher premium so I only have a 150 dollar deductible. When my wife flew back to SC somebody backed into the rental car. The rental car company claimed 600 damage to car. I just handed it to the ladies at insurance company. They looked at estimate and said not much sense turning it in since all but a 100 bucks would fall under deductible. I just laughed and said maybe you should look up my policy. They did and were shocked said nobody has that low a deductible. I just laughed and said I do and this kind of stuff is the reason why
We had a 250 deductible on the old car and I just found out last night that when they wrote the new policy that they put down 500. I don't carry an insurance card for my wife's car so I hadn't really looked at it since we bought the car a few months ago. I'm feeling like a whipped dog.
Man that blows. Default must be 500 so when they added the new car went with default. I see a lot of mowing lawns or house cleaning for the neighbors in your daughters future until she earns the deductible
It's more likely that I'll be the one looking for a second job. It's a really touchy subject due to several issues but I'm really ready for my wife to go back to work. The financial burden is really getting to me. It seems like I'm on edge all the time.
