I got my kissbox yesterday and call me stupid but I am not all that impressed with it. The best things about it are the manual switch and the usb power, but there is a plastick taste that will not go away no matter what cartridge I use, and the first battery I plugged in after 18 hours of charging had no power. Not sure what that is about. I am going to try it for a few more days but probably be sending it back.

It is not the Janty it is the Janty cart. I had that problem initially. Just changed the first cart out and it cleared up mostly. I have found all Janty carts have a plasticy aftertaste. Just don't use them. I have been using e-cig.com carts and am very happy with them. To get a smoother draw you need to drip 3 drops of juice into the atomizer and reinsert the cart. You can see it soak up all the juice. Lots of smoke and very smoooth ;) I do this 3 to 4 times a day to keep really heavy smoke in my Janty.

As for batteries. My wife and I have 6 between us with no problems. (I bought two extra after all the problems people were having on this forum)They last me a day and a half but I charge overnight. They are from Janty USA.

My Kissbox classic arrived today, very speedy delivery time. First impressions are that I really like how it 'smokes', easy draw with the automatic switch and vapour on demand with the manual switch. I can see that the manual switch might be a real bonus for this ecig but it's going to take some time to get used to it. I love the vapour and the way the Kissbox feels. So far so good.

Now the problems. One of my batteries was completely dead out of the box and it won't charge. The charger seems a bit dodgy too, I had to wiggle the working battery in it to make the charge light come on. So much for quality control.

I'm trying the RY4 cartridges for the first time and they taste more like cigs than the tastes I've become used to in my short (seven week) vaping career. I can see why they are so popular for those missing tobacco but I don't miss it any more and have become accustomed to other tastes. It's too strong for me to vape for any length of time, it's course in my throat after a while. I think I might end up squeezing the cartridges and diluting the juice.

Janty sent me some oriental flavour cartridges Karen. Having read your opinion on them I'm not in a rush to try them. If I don't like them I'll send them to you. ;)

Got to tell you Kate, I've had a few box's of oriental flavor that I just didn't try because of Karen's apparent disdain of them and I ended up giving a box to a friend.
Just saw here last night in work and she say's she loves them......I took a puff off her's and I'm now sitting here writing this smoking Oriental flavor!

That's funny. :D It just goes to show how we all have different tastes and preferences. I'll have a go with mine at some point just to see for myself. I do think that my tastes are different from a lot of ex smokers, I don't like a strong, harsh throat hit, it irritates me after a while. I like smooth slightly sweet tastes. I also don't need a high nicotine content for a good effect. I'm vaping a Sedansa cherry cartridge in my Kissbox at the moment and it's better than the tobacco flavours for me although it's tickling my throat a bit. The cherry taste isn't as strong as I'd like.

Good luck with your Kissbox Fish, I hope you get a good one and the wait isn't too long.

Well I fully endorse the Janty kiss box classic it is the only electronic cigarette that fully satisfies me out of all which is out there at the moment. I have four units so that keeps me good for spares.

I do not know what all this fuss is about regarding the Oriental flavour it does not taste bad at all it really doesn't have much of a taste but does have an nice kick to it more of a dry ry4 without the brown sugary taste. But by saying this I am not putting down the ry4 has I personally like these. I just feel people should not be scared off by trying the Oriental flavour the only flavour of Jan T. which I cannot get on with is Marlborough and tobacco but there liquid is totally different and very good in Marlborough and tobacco and looks very clear in the bottle it's just a shame they don't do larger bottles.
The atomiser tends to work great at first and after a week it does Tone down a little with a lack of life but hey you just send it back and get a new one because that's what they're guarantee is use for.
So people don't be silly just try the Oriental and judge for yourself and if you don't like it fair enough.
As the saying goes you wouldn't jump in the river just because I did would you.

I tried the cat piss/ramen noodles/oriental this morning and it's my favourite ready made taste so far. Unlike other flavours there's no harshness or tickle, it's quite subtle in my opinion. It's not an overpoweringly strong taste. I'm glad I found it, I don't need to dilute these cartridges to vape them. That's handy really because after a bit of dripping today on my Kissbox atomiser I've decided to stick with cartridges with it and to only drip my cheap generics. I might have broken my automatic switch, it's a very hard draw now to get it to work.

The manual switch is a dream, it's a real bonus and I think other manufacturers would do well to get their research departments working on that for their ecigs. It makes far more sense technically than an automatic switch. The only thing against it is that it makes vaping a bit more different to smoking but to my mind that's not a bad thing, we want something different, not more of the same. The vapour produced via the manual switch is more satisfying in regards to replacing cig smoke and it's just a matter of getting the timing right which isn't hard.

I first saw a manual switch on a DealExtreme e-cigar back in January. Cost all of about $24 with free shipping. I opted for the automatic switch e-cigar -- my mistake. Knutselpeter got a manual switch one, and raved about it. Many users, however, reported the cheap Health switch quickly broke, so maybe I did the right thing. It was, however, an idea ahead of its time. Future e-cigs (those that are not disposable) will likely go heavily to manual switches. I love the combination of USB cord connected to computer or car power outlet and the manual switch.
