Maybe Janty Europe are getting on top of their aftersales service, I wasn't expecting replacements to be easy after what others have said about them.

in my expiriance replasment itself never was a problem with Janty -my problem was the "speed of respond" from Janty Europe-its take many emails and time.

Just one thing I've noticed with my Kissbox, with a new cartridge, fresh battery and manual switch it gives great vapour for a few puffs. Then it gets a bit wimpy. I'm sure it's me and my technique but I can't seem to put my finger on what I'm doing wrong. I noticed that if I draw more slowly the vapour is better. Does anyone else have experience of this with a Kissbox? If so, were you able to resolve it? Any experienced esmokers with suggestions? Cheers.

i had the same with manual switch-i think its result that eliquid evaporate faster than coming again from cartridge (manual switch giving a good heat!); good to give more "pause" between pressing the manual switch -give the time for eliquid ;-)

Kate I think because the atomiser is more powerful and batteries give more output. Cartridges tend to dry out at the end more quickly.
What I keep tending to do is using tweezers pushing the core up-and-down to get it more juicy at the end again which always helps but you do tend to have to do this quite frequently if you don't that's when the atomiser tends to dry up and produce the old burning taste.
This is why I tend to drip the cartridge quite frequently.

When on manual switch and there is plenty of juice in there the light will stay on for quite a while which contributes to using more power, drying the cartridge out more quickly,.
That's why when you hear people say they light stays on longer than five seconds because it's normally got more or too much juice down in their. You find when there's not enough juice it won't produce as much vapour so it's basically learning to get the balance just right.
The main reason I think for all of this is because of the atomiser being more lively than your
Generic atomiser. In theJanty you can fully hear the atomiser working where in some Generic type you don't really hear it that much and people are killing their atomiser when dripping it because of this not being able to hear the atomiser sizzling away and overworking so basically you have to get the juice level just right.
But this is my personal experience which I found when using various atomiser

Thank you both for your advice, that's really helpful. I'll have a go with my timing of the manual switch and getting the correct amount of liquid in the atomiser. I do think it's my technique that needs improving, this is a new Kissbox and does work very, very well sometimes for me.

I'm glad I learned basic esmoking technique on generics, I killed a few atomisers and batteries before I knew what I was doing. It would have been a pity to wreck a posh device with my experimenting. That could be what went wrong when I tried the Sedansa Diva I suppose.

Anyway, thanks again, this is a great forum, loads of great people to help and advise.

Kate I kept the cartridge wet most of the time with sedansa because I knew the power of it kept drying the cartridges out but the burning taste was there constantly anyway on two units which was totally confusing and that's why I have decided to return those back and try and get a refund.
TheJanty seems more controllable but keep your eye on the switches as the auto switch can sometimes light up or not that's when it's time to return that one and the manual switch tends to be not as lively after a couple weeks to which I have mentioned in another post.
So basically just keep your eye on things you will know when there is something not quite right

Well I'm working on the technique Ned and so far am having good results. The vapour is much better. Both you and Vaf were correct with your analysis of the problem. My timing with the switch wasn't right and I'm making sure there's more liquid down in the atomiser now. A great improvement. These things take some getting used to, I still feel like a beginner when it comes to making the devices work as they should.

Kate I'm glad you're getting on with it better.
The manual switch was so weird when I first tried mine and couldn't really get on with it but after a few days and get you technique right and you'll be okay.
What I personally do is press the button when my hand is by my waist and I keep it pressed till after I have inhaled then let go. When this switch tones down and isn't as lively and precise try your auto switch and you will see that works much better which gives you a clue regarding the manual switch on the way out.
At the present I'm using my auto switch which is working quite nicely actually. But I think what's good about the manual switch is when you first use a new atomiser it's good for running it in for a while as you're not letting it over Cook itself.

Also try without cartridge and drip and that will give you a kick with manual switch.

My experience with Janty Europe is very good. They usually respond very quickly to my requests and have always been willing to solve any problems (regarding shipping, replacement and so forth).

I would personally rate their service as very good! There are some problem with these devices (as most of us know) so good customer service is extremely important.

@vafvaf: Are you still having trouble with JANTY EUROPE? Send ME a mail at info@jantyshop.com
thanx Ludo! last week, after i did not get respond from Janty Europe about my problem with automatic switch, i pack the dead parts to envelope and send to Janty netherlands (probably will arrive this days); but i decide do not spend more times for another circle of correspondence (it was an emotional decision ;-) )

thank you for you note Ludo, very nice from you (and Janty ;-) )

I think I'm starting to get the hang of my Kissbox now, it's taking a bit of practice. I've found that the cartridge needs to be kept well topped up and the atomiser to be dripped occasionally to get the best vapour. It just gets wispy and frustrating if it's at all dry. Timing with the manual switch is important too, you can control the density of vapour if you use it with a topped up cartridge and fresh battery. I'm able to get plenty of vapour now, thanks to Vaf and Ned for their advice.

One thing I'm noticing is that the vapour I'm getting is a bit harsh. I don't know yet if it's because of the juice in the cartridges I'm using or if the atomiser is burning too hot. I'm starting to try a cartridge with my own mix now, I know it doesn't taste harsh in other devices so when I've tried it for a while I'll be able to tell if it's to do with the juice or the Kissbox atomiser.

I've not had it long so it's early days yet and I'm still getting used to it, I'll see how it goes. If I can sort the harshness out and get a good taste I think I will have found another great device. Vapour is good and controllable, it's quite elegant and feels good to hold. The slimness makes a nice change from the chunky Ruyan bling ecigar I've also been using.

Kate I'm glad it's all going good so far regarding the harshness I can't really help you there as I have not experienced this . in less it is the old burning taste in some sort of disguise because usually when this happens the vapour does increase and look strange sometimes.

Because if you use your own flavours or J. C. liquid it might mask this slightly as I know from personal experience

the J. C. juice once you get that in your atomiser it will linger for days . I have even left to soak my cigar in hot water over night and the taste and smell is still in their but I don't use J. C. any more anyway so I don't get this problem any more

Do you drain your atomiser at the end of each day?

:) i also use my Kiss box , but quality is not like what you said , my kiss box USB part burn and battery is not good too .

after use many different brand , my favour is Sedansa .:thumb:

Well, I finally got my KISS Boxes yesterday!!

ALl I can say is, now THAT"S E-SMOKING!! This is it, the ultimate, the perfect e-smoking experience.

I got both the Classic and the Yentyl, because I'm a completist. :D And, as I had mentioned, mine shipped a few days late, and they explained the delay by telling me they only had black and silver, and needed to know which I wanted. Well, I thought they meant they had sold out on the titanium Classic, but they were talking about the Yentyl! SO I did get the titanium Classic, after all, and a black Yentyl! YAY!

First the bad. My USB cable doesn't seem to be working at all. And the automatic switch for my Classic and the automatic battery for the Yentyl were both bad. So I'll get to find out how they handle exchanges. ;)

But the good is OH SOOOOO GOOOD! The manual switches work great! Tons of smoke, smooth easy draw like breathing through a straw, and whisper quiet, no gurgle, no whistle! Absolutely reliable and consistent from the first puff to the last; I didn't even know when the battery was wearing down until it just quit, totally discharged. And the vapor itself is very smooth textured, flavorful, and with no aftertaste. Seems to vaporize the liquid very efficiently.

Last night was my night off, and I spent it drinking and e-smoking the two units heavily. I got 7 hours of HEAVY smoking off the Pen battery, and about 8 hours from the Yentyl. One cartridge for the Classic lasted about 14 hours, and for the Yentyl they lasted over 4 hours. These are just rough stats from one drunken night, but they're already impressive.

Speaking of cartridges, I got the Mint, which as I've mentioned in my review of E-Cig-Sales' minis is the only good tasting menthol I've found yet. OH, here's a nit-picky criticism; while the Marlboro flavor cartridges that came with the Yentyl are in a matching black color, the extra menthol cartridges he included are dark green.

I would make just a couple suggestions for improvements; first bring back the LEDs on the manual switch and battery. I know it'll cut into battery life, but I like the visual feedback anyway. Second, a little more care should be taken to ensure that the logo and the button line up right. OK, that's nit-picky too, but I've gotta be nit-picky to find anything I DON'T like about this. :D

So, anyway, I love it. Great vapor, easy, smooth, and consistant, and reliable from first puff to last. From now on I am absolutly reccomending that anyone interested in e-smoking skip all the cheap stuff and go straight for the Janty KISSBOXes!

I don't drain my atomisers Ned, I used to but started thinking that if I was going to drip eliquid on them before using them again then it was a bit unnecessary. They aren't supposed to dry out so as long as they're not flooded I don't bother. I keep a supply of generic atomisers handy and when one doesn't produce a lot of vapour I just put it to the side and use another clean one. When I've nearly gone through them all I gather up the used ones and leave them all to soak for a while in isopropyl alcohol. That seems to clean them out well, then I'm good to go for another while. I don't know yet how it's going to work with the Kissbox atomiser, it might need more attention. I have another on the way so I can alternate when one produces less vapour.

Ludo, I'm very impressed that you check the forums for unhappy customers and try to put things right. That's bringing customer care to the public, it's a good strategy and shows respect for your customers needs.
