Okay so I'm totally new to this whole electronic cig thing. I got my first one in the other day. It's a blucig and not exactly what I was looking for. I know what I want, but not sure what ecig meets my wants / needs.

I want major vapor, not too harsh throat hit, a smooth flavor and one that has a long battery life.

I won't dis the blu. But I'm looking for MAJOR vapor:thumbs:!! At this moment, I don't care what it looks like (within reason).

I've been watching the reviews and getting so confused on the different lingo, styles and so forth. (dripping, cartridges, cartomizers, atomizers)

Can someone please help. I want to get a new unit ordered and here before I throw this blu in the trash and pick up a pack of cigs.

For major vapor and long battery life there is nothing better than a 510 mod (the 510 is the atomizer with the lowest ohm rating and hence better wattage) with a 14500 3.7v/4.2 peak volt battery.

Another choice it to put a 901 or 801 atomizer on a 5volt mod - two 14500's or a few different other configurations.

See Dan's chart here:

As soon as you say "major vapor," I think Joye 510. Not "too harsh throat hit" and "smooth flavor": still 510. "Long battery life": uh oh, not 510 ... or any mini or smaller e-cig.

There are various ways around that obstacle however:

  • Kent’s solution probably is the best. Most such mods will cost you $75 to $100+. I talk about many of them (although not the newest) in Part 5 and toward the end of Part 6 of the WWV Illustrated Guide linked in my signature. The least expensive mod I know of is a “box” mod called the Bartleby for $50 (described in Part 6).

  • But if you want your PV (personal vaporizer) to look a bit more like a cigarette and save some money upfront (but not in the long run), there are some make-do solutions (all mentioned in Part 6 of that guide):

1. Add a $25 PCC (personal charging case) to your Joye 510 order to charge one battery (and carry an extra atomizer and three cartridges) while you use another. It will get you through a whole day and evening (and the PCC can charge while you sleep). OR

2. Buy a couple 510 MEGA batteries. At 280 mAh (milliamp hours) they can go almost twice as long as the regular 150 mAh 510 batt, before needing to be recharged.

3. Buy a couple Kr8 XL batteries (and Kr8 to 510 adapters). At 380 mAh, they’ll last even longer.
So several options to choose from depending on what you most want at this point in your vaping career.
