It's not gone forever. If I remember correctly there are certain ingredients that take a long time to steep before she can make the juice. It should be back, though it might take few months.
MPage, I saw this on the VV facebook page, I'm afraid it is not good news. Someone posted asking about the Kona Velvet Milkshake and this was the reply:

I feel for you, I am worried about the Butter Cream Mint, which is not showing on the site either. I am wondering if the cream type flavors are going to be disappearing due to the whole diacetyl thing. Sometime this year the flavor of my Creme Caramel changed, there was no announcement, but I know it is different. I wrote to Annette here in pm, but got no reply. I have no idea why the forum here is not being looked at anymore, no announcements, nothing. I know VV is growing and has a lot of reseller accounts now, maybe there is just no time for the forum. I miss Kitty.

Normally there would have been an announcement. Yes, this forum has changed- having a baby probably has changed things quite a bit for Annette. Kitty is still a friend of mine on my FB pg.... she was a wonderful part of this group for quite awhile and added a lot of personality. Looks like another new season here.. hope it works for them. Thank you for letting me know that Kona Velvet is now gone. :-(

We haven't been posting here as often as we should, but that is changing going forward! Some of our flavors have been discontinued and we are sorry about that! Our flavorings are organic and have to pass very exacting standards. The world market for these flavorings in organic form is currently not stable enough for us to have sufficient base inventory to support the demand. Chemical flavorings which we never use, are readily available, but organic flavorings that meet our criteria for purity are much harder to come by. Should it be possible in the future to bring the following flavors back, we certainly will.

Hi Lizard, I take it you work for VV in some capacity? You should inform the help desk people of which flavors are discontinued. I was on there last week asking about Butter Cream Mint and was told it is temporarily out of stock and would be back soon. It would be great if we had had some warning and could have stocked up when it was decided to discontinue a flavor. *sigh*

I'm part of the customer service team QRXT. I'm really sorry you weren't told the latest information when you contacted us! Initially, we were told all the flavors were only temporarily out, but unfortunately, it didn't work out that way. I lost three favorites on that list and didn't get to stock up either, so I totally feel you on the loss! Some of the discontinued flavors had won awards, so we certainly didn't want to discontinue them! We just won't put our label on a product that's not up to our standards.
Good points, Lizard- of course V V would not want to lose some of their best juice.. and I do agree that the quality must be maintained. There are other places that sell V V juice so I assume if we find them we can buy the rest of what they have, lol.

It's understandable that certain flavors are harder to come by. My one and only wish is that there was at least one coffee flavor in the Absolute line. I really miss Dark Roast Turkish Coffee, as the alcohol based coffee flavors aren't nearly as good. Hopefully the new chemist can come up with something!

You may be able to find some that way MPage. One customer found a discontinued flavor in a shop and bought the rest of the stock. She was so excited when she wrote in, lol. You don't realize how attached you can get to a particular flavor till it's gone.
The Turkish Dark Roast Coffee was a cherished flavor Anarchy84. I've had customers flip when they found they couldn't get it anymore! Just like the French Vanilla Kiss that was my favorite, both were the only coffee and the only vanilla in the Absolute Line. I'm hoping that our chemist can come up with something equally as good to replace them!

MPage, have you tried the Caramel Kona Milkshake? Probably a silly question but it's a good second choice. Took a bit to get use to the little bit of alcohol but after shaking, opening and refilling my tank a couple times, it fades dramatically and I don't notice it. It's not as (for lack of a better descriptor) "rum buttery" as velvet milkshake but damn good. An ADV for me. I love caramel anything.
So I have an aside question ... the past several half ounce bottles I've purchased, I'm noticing there's only 12ml in them instead of 15ml. Anyone else notice this? This can add up over time. I've ordered 6 bottles in the last two months and all were 12ml consistently. That's another bottle and a half!

Yes, I have tried others- seems that I also have odd taste buds and the Kona is one of the 4 that I can vape- at 100% vg. Glad I do not get bored easily, lol.
As for your issue with the liquid, I have never noticed that in mine. That is worth a direct contact to the support area- hope you get it all figured out.

Sage-femme I'm very sorry you noticed this with your bottles! If you would, please go to our website and click on the green "Support" tab on the left hand side of the page. Send in an email about this issue and make the subject line "Attn Elizabeth" (my real name). I will make sure that we get that issue sorted out for you!
