Yes, that is a good one. VV's Caramel Kona Milkshake is really good, too.
I also really liked VV's Butter Cream Mint.

I'm not sure what you mean by "smooth".

it taste real, no fake flavor stuff. i was surprised i didn't have to do the 'steep' thing other than overnight.

its a very thin juice

I think in 2012 it was voted #2 e-liquid here on ECF.

Um, or was it 2011? Not the last poll but the one before that.

It was 2011, and that was the Kona Coffee Milkshake, not the Kona Velvet Milkshake. I've got both, I prefer the Velvet. It IS a "smooth" vape. I would describe it more as very "satisfying". A very complex flavor; vaped with various voltages brings out different flavor backgrounds. I liken it to a fine coffee house frappecino in flavor.

It's easily my all time favorite flavor.

Baditude, in your opinion, if I don't like the Kona Coffee Milkshake (hated it, in fact), is there any chance I'll like the Kona Velvet Milkshake? I.e., are the flavors similar?

They are similar. If you hated the Coffee Milkshake, I doubt you'd like the Velvet. Both have the Kona coffee as the primary flavor, but differ in the background notes. The Velvet to me is a more complex flavor, with more than one background notes, which I detect depending upon the voltage used.

The Velvet comes pre-steeped, while the Coffee does not, if I recall. So, you might wish to revisit it after 2-3 weeks if you have not already. This can make a relatively big difference with coffee flavors, and juices that use organic flavorings and high VG juices in general, which don't carry flavoring agents as well as PG does and require a little more time to blend.

In my own little world
I echo everything Bad says -- its definitely one of my favorites. I often mix Kona Velvet and Caramel Kona together, and I think I might like it better than either one alone. zapped, give it a try, you won't regret it.

Fatherdano: are you looking for other Virgin flavors, or other vendors with similarly realistic flavors? If the former, my personal favorites from Virgin are: Kona Velvet Milkshake, Caramel Kona Milkshake, Strawberry Granita, Vanilla Blackberry Swirl, and my wife puffs on their Peach and Apple mixed 50/50 all day long. As for other flavors -- I hear great things about Mt. Baker, and have had great luck with realistic flavors from Highbrow Vapor and Heathers Heavenly Vapor -- the Highbrow cheesecake, and Heather's black and blue are fabulous as well :)

Thanks for your thoughts. My Kona Coffee Milkshake is several months old, and the taste has not improved. Well, I haven't tried it in a month or so. I'll try it again tomorrow. It steeped for two days with the cap off, and was shaken periodically. I took the cap off again after a month or so.

So, it is fully steeped. If I don't like it tomorrow, I ain't gonna like it.

I might have to give the velvet a try myself.Bad you wanna trade some Velvet for some Hype?
 No trading my favorite all time juice. I will have to put Hype on my "Need to Try Flavors" list. Fruit flavors are my second favorite flavor niche after good coffee flavors.

I have to give a shout out to Dripeez and Vaperite as flavors that I have gravitated to over the last few months in addition to Virgin Vapors. All three use primarily VG (although they will customize with a variety of PG/VG ratios to your liking), and use all-natural and all-organic flavorings which I have to attribute being a reason for being my three favorite juice vendors.

I've found the great majority of the flavors that I have gotten from them to be authentic to descriptionand to have clean pure flavors with no hint of artificial, candy-like taste. Some of these flavors do benefit from some steeping, which is pretty commonplace for vg liquids, and organic flavors in general.

I'm thinking to make sure deliveries are at a certain time of the month might be better than at other times. i mean really, what do i know after 6 kids and 20 yrs of marital bliss. ")

My wife used to get mad at me, then I gently remind her that we were spending over 300 bucks a month EACH on the stinkies... now she just rolls her eyes as another batch of juices rolls in :)
