My auto batt accidentally got submerged for a second or two.

When I plug in a carto, it starts hissing and popping on its own, without me drawing on it. When I unplug the carto, the led light flashes a few times like it does when it cuts off.

I'm leaving it to dry and I know it might be gone, but has anyone's batts ever come back afer being submerged?

yup let it dry before even trying to use it, you could short something out if you dont. a day or so in a suitable place for drying should do it. Based on what you said, I will assume that the 2 connections on the switch are both wet and now connected, whats why it starts vaping as soon as you connect the carto, meaniung that it will be completely dead when you try to use it again so when you feel it is dry, charge it up for about an hour just to be safe and try it out, if it works then charge it up some more, if not, ytou might have to buy a new one.

Fling out all the water by hand and put it in a bag/container of (uncooked) rice for a couple days. Should work just so it didn't fry.

I 2nd the rice. I intentionally had to run a battery under water for about 5 minutes because it was gunked up with liquid (figured there was nothing to lose, it was trash as it was) I would just add that I'd also try rinsing it with alcohol before putting it in the rice, as alcohol evaporates much faster than water, so any water you can force out with alcohol would help.
