I hope this is the right place to ask this, if not, sorry. In the past I have been told that an auto kr808d-1 battery or passthru is ruined once it begins to stay on. Meaning once the auto switch is stuck in the on position, most likely from e-juice that has dripped down inside and gummed up the works, it's best to give it up and get a new one. Sometimes it will switch off by simply whacking it on my desk but I have had one that took a bit too much abuse and stopped working altogether. Anyway, what I was wondering was if anyone had come up with a good way of cleaning them? I know atomizers and cartomizers can usually be cleaned out relatively well using different types of alcohol, but for obvious reasons I'm reluctant to soak a battery or PT and expect it to ever work again. Ive used a Q-tip to clean around the contact, but this doesnt help much. Anyone have any luck saving a sticky kr808d-1 auto battery?
Thanks

For the long term it is best to have a multimeter around to check both batteries and atomizers:
