KR808D-1 - Getting rid of Juice in cart?

I got a starter kit this week, and it came with 6 cartridges, all RY4 18mg

Well let me tell you, this is not RY4 I have had before....I have had RY4 before from MVS and that stuff tastes great..but this RY4 is making me sick..I think it is too sweet I really do not know, I tried 3 different cartirdges from tha pack so I knot it not just one cartridge that is bad.

Anyway the company i bought it from went above and beyond is sending me out 2 extra set of cartomizers totally different flavors so a totally of 10 cartridges for free, and in the meantime I bought another 2 more sets from another company before I knew they would do that but they will not be getting here for another few days


Is there anyway to get this juice out and I can refill with my own? I tried putting in my own 555 from the battery end but it still did not cover up the taste. I have been trying to puff and get rid of this RY4 and just not inhale that is when I get the taste but it is taking forever...literally i must have puffed about 40-50 times so far and still going strong


Any thoughts? can i take this apart and clean it out and then put my own juice in?

Or should I just wait for my cartomizers at this point?

i don't know of any way to get all the juice out of a cartomizer. Blow real REAL hard through the battery end? i still don't know if that would get rid of all (if any) of the juice. I know sometimes if i overfill a cartomizer i can blow a bunch of the excess liquid out that way.

i know vapornine is supposed to be selling blank cartomizers soon

I boiled one once and it got just about everything out, it took a month of sundays to dry though. I stuck it on the end of my hair dryer with the concentrator attached to keep it from jumping out and just dried and dried and dried for like 10 minutes......all that electricity wasted could've bought me another pack of cartomizers.

Boil it and leave it in a sunny spot with the white cap removed for a few days, see what that does.

search, it's in a VK thread, essentially, pop open cart, run water through it until it seems it's all out.

Use compressed air (NOT in a can) at 5psi or so to blow through to dry cart. Refill.

PS - you're the second person to say the KR carts RY4 is horrible, maybe I do NOT want to try them!

make sure you pop open the cart before you soak it in or run water through it. If you try to pop off the back while they are waterlogged.... e-juice in the eye stings... alot.

btw i keep puffing on this thing...how many puffs does it have? holy crap......it is the cartridge that keeps on going...i hope the cartomizers with the flavors I like have this many puffs and I will finally have an e-cig I relaly like for once

The number of puffs on these is very inconsistent. I have had carts that get 200+ puffs and some that get about 50. The very first carts that I got were the best and since then the quality has been spotty at best. Personally I like the RY4 in these better than the couple of RY4 juices I've had.

I just got a bunch of asorted cartomizers mostly mint and marb but they did send me peach,coffee,red bull by mistake so let me know how red bull and peach are so I can decide to keep them or send back. if I open I can't send back and if they taste bad I will send back.Thanks for any help you could provide

Umm, not in a can = air compressor

The cart puffs vary, and they generally are somewhat inconsistently filled, so it'll vary from cart to cart before vapor reduction, or more likely 'funky taste.' Try to top off before it gets funky, much reading out there if ya search for it.

You could always just let them dry naturally after rinsing through and blowing out with your mouth, but that's going to likely take days...

I think i will just wash out the remaining 3 cartridges i have left..and let them air dry and by the time i am ready i can use them in a few weeks

I'm not sure if this will work for you or not but I noticed when I tried to refill with a syringe (with needle from the mouth end after popping the top and clear ring out) that if I overfilled, I could pull back on the syringe and if I pulled too much, it would pull out more than I put in. You might try to pop the top off and just suck out the juice that's in there with a syringe and needle slid down the side in a few spots. Might pull out enough that when you refill with what you like, it'll taste good. Keep pulling out until nothing more comes up in the syringe and then refill.

i thought I give an update

so the company sent me what was suppose to be peach...the box was labelled peach...but when I took out the cartomizers, guess what the little sticke4r on the back said? RY4...i could not believe it..i tried it and yep it was RY4...i was like no it is haunting me..


The other one they sent me to try was Marlboro which was better then RY4, it reminded me of Marlboro from myvaporstore, but I did not really enjoy it from MVS, but at least I can tolerate it and it does not get me sick and is not sweet.

I will say this the KR808D-1 puts out superb vapor, and really nice throat hit. I am very impressed so far.

Now all i need is to find some cartomizers where I enjoy the flavor LOL


The redbull and cola should be here today from mist-tix lets hope I have better luck

well another update i just got the stuff from mist-tix

and i must say the RED-BULL is awesome!!!!!!!

It tastes just like the Red bull juice from vapornine that i have, and the things i get even better throat hit on my KR808D-1 then I do when I use the redbull juice from in my 510

so now I can use my e-liquid redbull to fill it up and top off



The Cola is interesting, it does not taste like cola, I really have no idea how to describe it, it sort of tastes like cream/root beer ah it just weird...it not bad...it just not cola...it tastes pretty good...but red bull is still much better


both give me great throat hits..and lots of vapor

...just curious here because you said it came with 18mg cartomizers and im not too certain that KR actually makes 18mg versions of their cartomizers, so...

...are you certain that your kit is a TRUE KR kit? (does it have the "KR-808D-1" on one side of the kit box?

Im asking because i received some non-KR cartomizers lately and the taste for me was alot worse than the real KR's...the non kr's i received were cheaper knock-offs and i dont think they had that notch down the center of the carts connector plate (although im really not sure if thats a good way of telling them apart). I think the real KR carts come in 16mg, unless theyve recently changed it?

anyway...i personally find the KR 16mg marlboro's to be the least offensive taste-wise...i also found the non-KR's to have somewhat of a "chalky" taste.
