Hello everyone,

A lot of you recommeded the KR808d-1 to this most humble fence sitting noobie. Ive been going between V4L and Cigeasy for my first kit. Upon more research, other than V4L and Cigeasy, Im having a hard time finding the pre-filled VG cartos for the KR8. Ive been to sites that say they have cartos, but they are blanks. I just want to vape, like I do with analogs. There are a ton of dripping liqs. out there, thats for sure.

To confuse me even more Cigeasy has this manual 902 batt, which I found minimal info on. No one else seems to use this 902 batt but them. Cigeasy is really cheaper than V4L. Thats been part of my hold up. I dont want to sink a lot of money into something right off the bat until I understand it better.

Here at this forum, Ive read a bad cust serv review for both companies. I guess folks are entitled to have an off day. So this isnt a prob for me.

It just seems like even though the KR8 is popular, there isnt much out there in the way of pre-filled VG cartos. Everything is geared towards the 510, the ego types, and dripping into blanks.

God Im still so confused even after reading and watching vids.

I know V4L has a good selection, but Ive learned my lesson over the years and that is, dont put your eggs all in one basket always have a backup plan. I like to move around.

If there are any out there can anyone give me some websites for Pre-filled VG Cartos other than V4L & Cigeasy??:?:

I truly thank you all for reading this extremely long boring story. Have a nice night, I will be back tomorrow evening after work.:)

Hi, I know how confusing it can be when starting out. The 902 is basically the kr808d-1. I just purchased a nice kit from Madvapes.com for 29.00. I have experience with the 902 and it's not a high quality kit. As far as prefilled carto's I'm sure you will get alot of suggestions. There is a forum here that reviews suppliers which I found very helpful. If you start at the main page, just scroll down and you will find it. Good luck!

The cheapest would probably be getting a plain white or steel KR808D-1 kit from VaporLeaf.com or LiteCigUSA.net

If you want nice colors, or want to order decent prefilled cartos with your order, then Vapor4Life.com, or BloogPlanet.com. Yes Vapor4Life's colors are a bit pricier than the plain manufacturer white and (I think) steel color kits.

I wanted nice colors :)

re VG - you would have to research which juice makers' VGs are thin enough for cartos. Some VGs are super-thick and may get harder to get in. And I think VG an be thinned a bit with Pure Grain Alcohol (aka PGA - but check that with someone else - I think this is what you thin VG with). Plenty of people use VG in carts - you just want to avoid super thick ones or know how to thin them yourself.

VG goes in easily enough if you force it with the condom refill method. However even dripping will get it in there. You just have to be patient and/or do the spin. I use mostly 50/50 now, but I did pick up a 100% VG bottle locally in a time of need and was able to refill cartos with it successfully enough to keep me analog free until my next juice order arrived.

Re the carto condom filling method and the spin - search Youtube for Taryn Spin (there are 2 videos - watch both)

And get manual batteries. Even though KR8 manuals seem to still have a hole in the end, they should be less prone to getting killed by a juice leak from an overfilled carto.

And that V4L sale was over yesterday I believe. Ended the 30th. But you could ask them - the code was SuperSale30

There are a lot of vendors that do pre-filled cartos for the KR808.
I bought my first kit from SmokeTip.com which is a auto battery 180 mAh, or shorties, & pre-filled cartos. They also have pre-filled carots in a few flavors other than tobacco, but there are a lot of other vendors out there. The KR8 has 3 sizes of batteries and are 180, 280, & 380 mAh. There is also what is known as the Fat Bat like the Pig Cig which is 650 mAh & lasts me all day.
Google e-cig & start looking. I did & that's how I found Smoke Tip & this site that is full of sages that have been vaping for along time.
Probably 99% of all vapers refill their own cartos & carts. It really is easy if you get a few & refill once or twice a week then put the condoms on them to keep them fresh.
I won't recommend any any hardware or format as I like the KR808 whereas my 30 year old kiddo likes the eGo & then others like the mods.
You probably will end up with 2 or more kits as most of us have due to the technology changing so fast today so take your time.

Happy Vaping,
louis

KR8 is a fine place to start vaping. It's one of the two most recommended starter units. Yet it has enough battery charge and a (w/ standard or xl batteries) and nice enough vape to be something you're continue to use even if you eventually get something bigger. Note - the xl batteries do not fit inside the PCC.

And here is a guide about KR808D-1
