OK, I can't take it anymore. Where do I stand?!?!?

donesmokin for some reason I had a feeling you were right behind me on your order and I got mine yesterday and I LOVE it.

I just need to say that I finally "get it"! What a difference a little box can make in ones vaping experience. I've seen it written all over the forums but never really understood what the big difference could be.

It's perfect James and I promise to keep it away from that bulldog. I may just have to order another one after the new year and AFTER donsmokin gets his mod!!!!! A girl always needs extras!!

One quick question. Is there a way to tell when the battery is getting close to needing a recharge?? My batteries lasted 12 hours the first time and I've had the second ones in for yet another 12 hours. I don't have a volt meter YET.

Good luck donesmokin on getting that box!!!!

Sadly without a voltmeter about the only way is that for probably 15 mins before you can start to tell a slight drop off then the unit will just go dim and be done.

As for you donesmokin, you are right behind Rhody, so there is 3 mods in front of you. I'm currently doing a 2x2 for Ufo which does take a bit more time but after that I have a bottomfeeder and another Little Man, then your Little Man so I will probably be doing yours along with the other. I will get more info for you when I begin.

bully mom. Pretty great little piece of equipment ain't it! Details please. Ohms, volts, carto etc. I just run mine 'til the batteries quit most of the time. I've always got a fresh set ready to swap out.

James. Thanks for the info. I was just feeling sorry for myself. Hope you get things wrapped up so you can enjoy the holidays. If not, take a break anyway!

Sorry that I haven't commented sooner, but I've been playing SWToR all week.

I received my bottomfeeder, and it is quite incredible.
The attention to detail is what really sets this apart from the rest.
The way that everything is packed into such a small space is a clear indication that it was very well planned out and professionally executed.

I've been using it with a 1.7 Carto and I just have to squeeze the bottle every now and then. This is by far the most convenient thing I've found. No dripping and no real hassle re-filling the carto...now I'm probably going to be bored with nothing to fiddle with all day.:p

And the paint job looks friggin awesome!

Thank You James!

Love my little man. The first night, I stayed up all night vaping everything I had in sight. 2.0 boge and 1.7 resurrectors and kept the vol at 3.7 or below. Tasted great! Also have started using my 3.0 boge which I like best so far simply because I can play with that dial a little bit ;). Had to sleep the next day away just to get over my all night of vaping. I have a friend who sent me a whole box full of juice that she didn't really like and I of course had to try all of them!!!! I have pretty much kept it at 4.2 or 4.5 on my 3.0 boges.

I also got some of the ce2 fluxomizers as a gift and am trying to get the nerve up to try one of them. My friend had a horrible time trying to fill them and then got no flavor once she was able to get past filling one
. She is hoping I will have better luck. We will see.

I really appreciate all the help I got from this thread. The batteries and the charger have been great. I was even able to get a bottle of the infamous bounty hunter today on the NLV site today. They only had the 6mg and the 12mg available but at least I will have a chance to try it.

Merry Christmas to all!!!

Happy you are diggin the mod and Happy Holidays to everyone out there.

Been a little quiet because I've been doing crazy stuff the last few days. Haven't gotten much modding done but I have made a heck of a lot of cookies the last 2 days. I got another done this evening: 2x2 Black on Black I know you guys love them photos!

I'll be getting some more work done this evening if I have anything else I'll get it posted otherwise tomorrow it will be.

I'm living in a nightmare!! All of the sudden after putting in newly charged batteries in my lil man it will not turn on at all!!! Actually it turned on and I hit it maybe twice and set it down. When I picked it back up.... now power. I took the batteries out and replaced them and the led flashed on briefly then went out completely. I cleaned the ends of the batts off with alcohol tried again.. no power at all.

The batteries are always hard to place in the mod because its such a small space and everything is so compact. I just feel like the batteries are not getting seated properly. Husband looked at it and wanted me to bring him a regular old battery so he could check it and I refused to let him put a regular non lithium in it at all. I have treated it like a baby and it has been working perfectly until tonight. Any suggestions on things I might try??

James do I need to send it back to you??

Please help anyone!!!

New and Breaking news!! I switched over to the batteries I just put in to re charge about an hour ago and bingo..... it works fine with those newly charged batteries. I have a feeling that the previous batteries were NOT charged even though the green lights on the charger indicated they were charged completely.

This charger that I am using seems to charge these up very quickly according to the green lights. I am wondering if I am just not using the charger properly.

Sorry for the false alarm!! Whew I glad to be back in business!!

Sorry to hear you had a moment there Bully mom, sometimes that happens the chargers don't fully charge or batteries don't make contact sometimes depending on the button tops. It's happened a couple times so I made a video a while ago for them to check out. If the issue arises again check this out: Battery Contacts - YouTube

Sometimes the way the button tops are on batteries they might be slightly angled to one side or shorter than other batteries and it can happen that way. Hope everything else is going well.

I have 3 mods I'm currently doing that I'll have photos of up shortly.

Shortly is 6 hours right? Sorry for the wait, was a long night and I thought I had neared the end but a few things took their sweet time getting done but I did get 3 finished off this evening and here is some slideshows for folks:

18650 Evercool Bottomfeeder Black with Blue accents I like the internal LED that lights up the bottle on the solid colored 18650s, gives a cool glow.

3.7v Clear Bottomfeeder w Blue LED These sure are getting popular.

3.7v Green on Green w Color Changing LED Ok so the photos don't show the lazer light show but I'm too tired for videos tonight

Was a good night, got 3 mods done, next mod on the table is Donesmokin' and David's, couple of Little Man units.

Hey bullymom, trust me, you're not the only one!
I bought 5 "flamejacket" batteries for my new mod and had all 4 charged and ready for my mod when it arrived.

Put the first bat in...nothing...:glare:
2nd bat in...worked for about 2 minutes...:glare:
3 bat in...worked for about 10 minutes...:glare:
4th bat in...nothing...:(

Was about to throw something or somone across the room, but decided that putting the batteries on the charger would be a better idea.
Next morning it worked great! And after a few cycles of swapping batteries, it looks like one of the batteries I have is completely no good, but 3 still work.

I have the TR001 battery charger and what James explained about the contacts not hitting the batteries properly is an every day experience in my home.
The only batteries that I can get to regularly hit the contacts every time are my 18350s because they are fat and sit in the channel properly.

anyways...just my :2c:
