I don’t know how much reading you want to do, but I found that the following thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ecf-library/36180-wonderful-world-vaping-illustrated-guide-e-cigs-part-1-6-a.html from DonDaBoomVape on this forum, really helpful when I started. ;)

Vaporista explained the whole vaping experience as a journey. You will find some good things, some bad, until you find the devices and Juices that suit you. :D

I have previously ordered from the following overseas places: :2cool:

Electronic Cigarette e-liquid / Totally Wicked e-Liquid / electronic cigarette eliquid nicotine fluid products

Wholesale & Retail Best E-smoking Supplier

www.eastmall.net

You must also keep in mind, that some of us are total maniacs when it comes to devices. We go much feather than just replacing our Analogs. We go absolutely mad and spend thousands of rand on different devices and options, just because we enjoy it. You will see in this last sentence, I included myself, since I consider myself as one of these maniacs. I am just a beginner in the maniac business, and I own 5 different devices that I all love in its own way. :D

What I m getting at is that it is not as easy as answering one question. There is going to be some work and research that you are going to have to do. Just the question 901, 510 can start a riot, in the sense that you will have so many confusing reply’s you would not know where to start and stop. Each one of these models 901, 510, M40*, and 801 have their loyal followers, that will swear that their choice is the best. The biggest following will most probably be between the 901 and 510. I have all those atty’s in my collection (I am a maniac you see)8-o.

I also found YouTube to be a great source of knowledge. I do not like reading much, to lazy, :p so on there people talk to me and I do not have to read.

Ok to sum up. If you do not want to become a Vaping shopaholic, like me (it is a lot of fun), and just would like to find a good replacement PV for your analogs, you are going to have to do some research and make the decision. You must also remember that you might not be happy with that decision either, and would want to change that at some stage, (as newer devices and gadgets become available).:p

I would tend to advise you towards something like the Riva (a East Mall device). Very good battery life with a 510 atty. But I do not know if you would like the look of it. It does not look much like a cigarette. :D I nowdays prefer a device that does not look like a Cigarette.

Yes I see your point, there is a LOT of research to be done and testing testing testing! I'm looking now at the east Mall website to see what they have. Now with regarding to the 510 and 901 i'm not so sure....i suppose it doesn't have to look like a smoke, as long as it does it thing! I'm also looking on this website i saw on the forum Vaping101 > Home and they have the joy510 that everyone is ranting and raving about....sigh i dunno but like you said, i will have to test and trail myself. All i know is that this kwik quit is not for me...

I do not think you can go wrong with a 510.:D I have been a big 901 fan for some time now, but recently I started liking the 510 more and more. 8-o You can have a look on YouTube. There is a guy named GrimmGreen. http://www.youtube.com/user/GrimmGreenhttp://www.youtube.com/user/GrimmGreenhttp://www.youtube.com/user/GrimmGreen. He is a vaping legend, he does hundreds of PV reviews, and you would always here him raving about the 510. If you where to watch all his reviews it will take you weeks. But you can search some and see what he says.

The big thing to keep in mind is that you must not get confused or have doubt in vaping.:vapor: It is a very personal thing that is why a PV is so difficult to recommend. What ever floats you boat kind of a thing. I have been off analogs for a while now. I use to smoke 30 + a day. My health has improved tremendously, and I can taste and smell things I haven’t tasted or smelled for 20 years. :headbang: So hang in there. It will pay off. And as I said, I changed my smoking addiction into a vaping hobby. It is awesome.:banana::banana::banana::banana:

:evil:Barts is right ... RiVa unit from EM is the way to go ...
over and above some of the problems youve had with Diskem junk you gonna find battery life an issue - RiVa seems to be the best in this regard (besides some of the more silly large mod units out there)
the RiVa uses the 510 Atty - possibly the most popular out there ...

Rater spend a bit more for this unit than a standard 510...

by the way the EM RiVa is a Janty(or Twisp) Ego clone - apparently better...

I saw that they sell the Twisp ego at centurion mall for R999. I'm thinking of saving and getting it, i just hope it's what i'm looking for. There's a guy that wants to sell the M201 but i'm not so sure about that model, saw on the website it's not so great. Unfortunately here you get what you pay for so i guess the ego is the way to go! I know it's also about will power but it wont help if the atty dies like in a week...like my kwik quit...

The eGo is great ...
you wont need much willpower as it is really just like smoking cigs...
Nicotene cravings are sorted...
Choosing a flavor is a but tricky ...
Also the first week or two - seems to dry the throat - I just suck halls every now and then...

eMall Riva is cheaper - but ordering a problem (as mentioned by Bart + myself)
 good luck ...

Thanks man, i went to the shop, it's a bit cheaper now, it's R800 but the liquid is a bit expensive. But they only have 3 flav at the moment, mint, cherry and tobacco. But it's fine as long as the unit works! I'll get one end of the month, thanks for ya'll help!

Yup kwik quit sucks.
I bought 2 bottles from game a few months ago, worst liquid ever!
Well, almost as bad as Twisp. Nothing is quite as bad as Twisp liquids.

Their ecigs are pretty awesome though.

Currently vaping: Caramel Swirl (24mg) + Irish Whiskey (18mg)
(combination tastes like cookie dough!)

With: Twisp Stick (aka Janty Stick v2)

Sorry for the delay helen!
Haven't been on the forum lately.

I got my last batch of liquids from bidorbuy from the seller SA Liquids.
She stopped selling last month due to the world cup but she's selling again

(if only I had waited, I ended up ordering from another supplier and the new liquids are waiting at the post office, I hope they're good)

Here's a link to her 10ml PG based liquids at R35 per bottle, looks like she's having a clearance sale.

Wholesale & Bulk Lots - 10 ml Premium Liquid Nicotine bottles for all Electronic Health Cigarettes for sale in Pretoria / Tshwane (ID:23343680)

It's the Deep forest brand, very reputable indeed. I reccomend only buying liquids that are 24mg/ml especially if you're struggling to get off the cigarettes. If you're going to get something lower than that then only get it to mix flavours.

Surprisingly their tobacco flavours are very nice, I used to keep away from them but now I love them.

French Pipe (24mg) + Virginia South (24mg) = Great Combo
Caramel Swirl (24mg) + Irish Whiskey (18mg) = Great Combo

I have seen a great shortage in High nicotine Mint and Menthol flavours lately, very disappointing. I used to love a good strong Mint, it's versitile and wonderful for mixing or on its own.

By the way stephenrowley (Founder of ECS) also sells the Deep Forest Liquids, I think he has a greater stock. However his stock does not display nicotine in standard format (milligrams of nicotine per milliliter) in otherwords you could order vanilla high liquid which is only 18mg of nicotine which isn't really high at all and think it's the same as caramel high which is 24mg. Ask him for a list of his liquids in standard format, he is very reliable with delivery and customer satisfaction.

BTW what ecig are you using?
