i have one of these in delivery.
i am having trouble understanding what atomizers i should be using with this thing, its six volts and i believe 2.5 amp.
im buying it specifically for the six volt, i know i can use the attys i currently have, at lower voltage.
where can i get suitable attys or tanks, cartos, canadian of course, for this?
thanks.
i would prefer a tank and carto setup.

i will admit that that kind of math above me makes my eyes hurt, so for a tank set up i use the 2.5ohm DCT cartos HERE you can also get the 4.0ohm atomizers from them as well to rip up the volts. I really havent been too adventurous in the higher voltages so cant be of much more help

so could i use 510 DC Tank V1 + Dual Coil Cartomizer + Drip Tip with 510 DCT - 1.5ohm & 2.5 ohm XL Dual Coil Cartomizer with hole at 2.5 Ohm or will that just make the Lavatube knock the voltage down to 3.7-4.5 or can i burn them at 6? (i think i already know the answer for this, but i had to ask)
thanks.

the 4.0 Ohm Joytechs seem to be the only things i can find. not really what i wish to use though.

there must be people that are selling stuff comparable to what Sicarius said, in tank form.....

maybe i should use http://www.ecigsejuice.com/hv-dual-coil-4-5-0-2ohm-510-xxl-cartomizers/ with one of those tanks i posted above. not canadian but i simply cannot find any canadians with high voltage cartos. probably have to punch those as well, dont see anything about them being pre-punched.

I use the Boge 3ohm Cart and Tank with the LT and it works great :vapor: the Boge,s are cheap as well great value ! They seem to last about 2 weeks for me,before I have to replace them !!
two weeks seems fair, i think i might look into those, can you burn them at six volt or do they short out?

(note to all)sorry to all for all the questions, dont mean to ruffle any feathers, just im starting to understand what ive been missing and i wish to be "Educated" before making anymore mistakes.

thanks.

hehe, gotta keep resetting my smoke free counter.

I have tried them at 6v and no problems !! I tend to stay in the 4.8v-5.2v range with them, the only issue I had was with getting the right tank size as they are too short for the standard tank, you would need a "mini" tank, or I have read they would fit with a 510-510 connector........ I am sure someone will be able to explain better :)

Why do they make these mods and then make it unable to run ... say a 2.5 ohm at 6 volts ? Seems counter productive.

My apologizes to op for interrupting..

You can run a 2.5ohm at 6V. That's 14.4W and pulls 2.4A, which is below the LT's max of 2.5A. In fact, right around 2.5ohm is the sweet spot I find that gives you the highest range of possible voltage levels you can run a device at -- any lower and you'll hit the amp limit before you hit max voltage, and any higher and you'll hit the max voltage before you hit max wattage output. Now you're probably not ever going to want to run a 2.5ohm carto at 6V unless it's a dual coil, because 14.4W will probably burn the crap out of the juice and give you nasty dry hits, but a 2.5ohm dual coil is perfect, since the wattage output is split between the coils giving you about 7.2W per coil.

Essentially, I find the following set-up works very nice from a vapor/flavor/th perspective:

Either in a tank or on it’s own:

1. Boge Carto or 801 Fusion Carto or SmokTech Single Coil Carto all in the 2.7 to 3.1ohm range / vaped at a 4.2 to 5V range.

The other option is the Kanger at 2.0ohm, just vape that between 3.5 to 4.3V range

2. If your looking at atomizers, I would look at any 510,306 or 901, but the standard ohm range works best (2.5-3ohm)

Of course, adjust the Voltage according to taste and juice....hope this helps.

As with anything man made, a mod is only as good/strong as its weakest link. Sometimes you just have to prevent users from doing things they shouldn't, to keep them safe. Like software coders have to spend hours writing error handling code to intercept erroneous input from users... Auto manufacturers limit top speed of vehicles to 100 mph.... and etc.
