I've been writing on Avery labels with a uni-ball pen, & that's good enough, but has anyone tried the less expensive label makers like the DYMO $16.11?
I know some diyers that use that one. I have one on my wish list. There are plastic coated labels or polyester, or paper cartridges for it.

For not much more you can get a http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00464E5P2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage so you can do the typing, font, row breaks, etc. from your computer keyboard. The labels are waterproof, stay on well, and peel off when you're done. I love mine. And you can do borders and very limited clip art if you want.

Thanks for posting this...this is just what I've been looking for as well.
Just started DIY and did not really want to be doing lables on my inkjet and having to load up a sheet just to do a couple of labels...this is perfect and very price wise!!

For my own DIY bottles, I went to Walmart and they had 525 small labels for less than $2. I use 2 per bottle and write the name and pg/vg ratio on one, then the born on date and MG on the other. Have not had to take them off yet but when I do, I'll let you guys and gals know how clean they come off.
