Labor Day Holiday Deals for hardware purchases?

After reading so many posts about the great supplier discounts expected for this weekend, I waited on ordering a big list of hardware stuff, but I am not finding those deals today. Yes, lots of great discounts at the juice supplier sites, but I have only found SmokeTek offering 10%. I am subscribed to newsletters at the top 20 biggest supplier sites, but only received one announcing a sale.

Did the expected sales not happen or what am I missing?
