I have kind of an odd ball question and some might even not like that I ask it, but hear me out. ;)

I have an unopened 1 year old bottle of a very popular flavor. I have purchased this flavor for years, but now it's been unavailable for months on end. Trouble is, it's been my all day every day vape for years and while I have been 'making due' with other manufacturers, I just want my regular vape back. Since it is not clear when, or even if, the vendor who sells this flavor is ever going to produce/ sell it again I'm wondering if I can turn to science to make it happen for me. Yes, I have checked out DIY and clone threads for this flavor. No one has nailed it. Is it even possible for a lab to break down the components/ flavorings of this bottle of e-liquid so that I can recreate it for my own personal use? I'm not interested in selling anyone's proprietary info and I have no interest in starting my own e-cig company. I just want my dang daily vape back. Thoughts?

You have a few here on this site...........
What was it your trying to clone ?

Bobas. But there's like 200 pages in a thread where people have tried to clone it and probably another 100 pages on Reddit, and many, many more online in other places.

What many of them fail to note is that the ingredients have to be pretty basic old school stuff. Some of the flavors listed in recipes weren't even around 6-7 years ago. Also, I seem to recall that there were only 4 ingredients in the original recipe (might be mis-remembering that, I read that years ago when Bobas first hit it big.)

Anyway, I adore the stuff, but for reasons that haven't been shared, AVE seems to have let their suppliers tie their hands for months on end. Why they don't simply take their formula and go to another vendor is a question that has not been answered. Frankly, it's their business, so they don't have to I suppose. Regardless, it's tough to have your everyday preferred vape disappear. Just thought if I could have a lab test it, I could make my own until such time as when AVE gets their crap together, but that doesn't seem to look like that is a realistic possibility. *shrugs*

Ben said his flavoring was 40% but what he failed to add was that he then used that as a flavor base to add to the VG base, vg nic.
Have you tried this ?
Black and Mile Plus 40.0% (6%)
(Black Mile Plus by Tobacco Express)
CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl 20.0% (3%)
LOR Almond oil 20.0% (3%)
CAP Coconut 7.1% (1.07%)
CAP Graham Cracker 7.1% (1.07%)
Vinegar 5.8% (0.87%)

No, I haven't. Has this reviewed well? Have you made it before and how close is it? Quick question, I thought actual oils were a big no-no in DIY?

The recipe is pretty close with a 3 week steep, there hence the flavor base, those flavors are not oil extracts, they are besides the net of the tobacco artificial carried in pg or alcohol, if you made that flavor base and let it steep I think you may be somewhat satisfied ............

Very cool. Do you have a favorite vendor you like to use to source these ingredients?
