Hi.
I am intending to use ego manual 900 battery with smoketech (mini) DCT fitted with 1.5ohm dual xl cart.
Will it be OK to use ??.
I have very little knowledge of ohms to volts usage, hence my question.
Have viewed Youtube video shows, but still somewhat confused.
Any information you can give me will be greatly received.
That set should work out fine for you. As others before me have recommended, another battery (or even 2) and additional cartomizers are a must.
Be sure to view a YouTube video on how to prime the cartomizer with juice prior to assembling the tank. You can use either the "condom method" or drip liquid directly into the top of the cartomizer (taking care not to get liquid in the air hole; use a wooden toothpic in the hole to prevent liquid getting in it).
And be sure to assemble the end caps and tube
before inserting the filled carto. Putting the top cap on
after assembling a filled tank can cause inadvertant flooding of the cartomizer.
When ordering additional cartomizers, decide whether you need to also purchase a carto punch tool, or get the cartos pre-punched. For a beginner, I'd personally recommend getting pre-punched cartos.
I always recommend cartotankers new and experienced to get the
tank tool from Big Daddy Vapors. It makes cartotanking so much easier and protects your tank's o-rings to boot.

Should the vapor from your current carto appear to be harsh or too hot for you, you may prefer a cooler vape. You can acheive that by using a cartomizer of higher resistance of 2.0 ohm to 2.5 ohm (standard resistance). You may also want to try a single coil instead of the dual coil cartos.
If your interested, I get mine here:
Single Coil XL Tank Cartomizer for the SmokTank XL
These already come with laser-drilled holes (1 or 2) and the resistance of your choice. I'm extremely happy with these. I get the same vapor and flavor with these as the dual coils, and they are much easier on battery life. The carts with holes already in them allow for consistancy, and takes another factor of human error with punching your own holes out of the equation, especially for someone new to tanking.
