That sounds heavenly! Yes I've seen the Trilogy :) That was one of the things I loved so much about Belgium, the rolling hills of farm land. I grew up on a farm, so to me, farmland is one of the most beautiful sights. Of course, you must have cows out in the pastures too!

The Belgian beers were to die for too ;)

I also grew up on a small farm (in northern Finland). After my army service I moved to nearby city (Oulu) to study in the institute of technology. When I finished my studies (almost 20 years ago) I realized that the best opportunities for me were in Helsinki. So I moved south. And here I've been living and working ever since.

Oh, talking about beers... I mostly like English bitter (e.g. Fuller's Indian Pale Ale), but there are some good Belgian ones also. Chouffe Houblon Dopplelen IPA Tripel comes to mind. Highly recommended :)

I like Dark German Beer. Those Germans really know how to make beer but I usually drink

I most liked the beers that didn't taste like beer lol. The super mild blondes and fruit beers. And of course there was a Belgian Chocolate Cream liqueur ;) I've been sober for over 20 years, except for the time I spent in Belgium

It's never a bad idea to cut down drinking every now and then. Nowadays I try to consume beverages somewhat responsibly, but back then when I was younger, we had pretty wild parties. As they say, there's a time and a place for everything - and it's called a college :D

Most beers are way too bitter for my taste. When I drank heavily, it was for the drunk, so I didn't much care what it tasted like after the first few. My palate has changed a lot since I don't like to get plastered anymore.

This one is one of my faves, well when I drank beer. It has the taste of toffe with an apple taste too. Makes me wanna go have a beer.

To paraphrase Monty Python... And now, something completely different :)

Few weeks ago I went to see this show (my truly and absolutely favorite guitar player ever - mr. Steve Vai from USA) in Helsinki. Here's a short outtake of that. Great guy, great show :)

Poor audio quality. Sorry about that.
