Thinking that you love smoking is almost like having "Stockholm Syndrome".
This anniversary is almost like that of your captor or tormentor being put behind bars. I, like many of us, was a slave.

On this day at about this time 2 years ago, I finished the last pack of analog cigarettes. Hurricane Irene flooded my basement and after emptying the last shop vac full of water, I had my very last nasty, stinky analog cigarette.
I bought my first ciggalike starter kit about 2.5 yrs ago, but they just didn't cut it. Once I had more power (eGo batteries), I felt confident that I could leave analogs behind. It worked and as I got more powerful devices (Provari) and good juices, I didn't miss analogs whatsoever. Now it is a fun hobby. I've stepped down to the lowest nic levels and use some zero nic juices too.

If I can do it, anyone can. I might not have made it if ciggalikes were the only things out there. You can't really expect to imitate analogs. E-cigs are a different animal. It can be annoying sometimes when you're out in public, whip out your big device and have to have that old conversation with everyone seeing a big mod for the 1st time, but so what. Once you are breathing easier, sleeping better and you, your house and car no longer stink like an ashtray, who cares!

If you're still smoking an occasional analog, you're still a stinky smoker.

Good luck to everyone trying to quit!
Congratulations to everyone who has!

Happy, healthy vaping to all!

Thank you!

BTW, I used to smoke at least 1.5 packs a day.
At $7.50 per pack (closer to $8 these days) I would've spent over $8200 on analogs in 2yrs.
OMG! That's a decent motorcycle every other year!
Overall costs in 2yrs of vaping were around $2500 to $3K.
Start up costs for vaping are high, especially when you buy 2 complete Provari kits.

congrats and I too hope to be able to say this 2 years from now for now im smoke free and filling good about making it this time

Thanks and congratulations on being smoke free to you too!
Hope all you want, but it comes down to each of us being the only one responsible for the choice to light up or not.
Every day without cigarettes is a healthier day than yesterday.
I did it to have a better chance of growing old without being feeble, struggling and in pain.

Hurricane Irene may have plastered you good, but tropical storm/hurricane , Irene 99 was the wettest storm on record of all time(17.5 inches) for any hurricane or storm ever.My dock floated away and my wife did not:(.Like you it showed me the way, a blow can be painful for a flushing is never better.

first week of vaping 99, my nose starting bleeding in front of people I know well, and stuck to vaping. It was very touchy to say the least. It was my bad taking an old pv and using it.first time in an adult setting,!00% sober my pv lit on my pocket and made it real hot.that day was my who cares day.Laughed and took it out and enjoyed myself. In maybe 2001 bought the best bottom feeder on the market, then bought the best vv bottom feeder on the market.First push of the on /power button it caught fire and would not go out with out removing the batteries, makers said whoops and replaced it(things happen, really good guy, sent a new one)its fun to learn , give all angles a :mirror into your i dont want to smoke soul", it pays you well.
